They refused to honor my pre price hike bars so I haven't ordered.I wonder if these are eligible for the "you'd be able to buy at pre-hike price at later date" discount. Probably not. And for those who just can't get enough of the yellow compass logo, I noticed these valve caps for $30: https://rivian.com/gear-shop/p/compass-valve-stem-caps

The answer is almost certainly going to be no.They refused to honor my pre price hike bars so I haven't ordered.
You both got scammed, those are on Amazon for $199. EVBase doesn't even change out the stickers for their "enhanced" version claiming to have a $699 retail price.Much cheaper than the Rivian option. With the discount code they are $327 plus tax. Took what the weight capacity is?
There are even cheaper crossbars offered on Amazon - $159 for R1T (cab only) and $179 for R1S. As far as I can tell, though, there are none for the R1T bed other than those from EVBase at $399.You both got scammed, those are on Amazon for $199. I don't believe the EV Base crossbars work in the bed. They used to have a photoshopped image of an R1T with their crossbars on the roof and they even removed the bed anchor points in the picture... like they don't even exist. Since they don't have adjustable widths, they can't work in both the bed and roof. That photo was removed from EV Base's sales site shortly after I pointed out that it was stolen from Rivian's web page and likely a copyright infringement.none for the R1T bed other than those from EVBase at $399.
For some valve stem caps!1 what the actual F.. These are a $2 to $10 max item. @Rivian lost it's damn mind.Price increased already. Now $35 ?
I mixed up BestEVMod with EVBase. It's the latter who offer a set of R1T crossbars for both the bed and the cab at $399. Think I saw a discount code for them somewhere on the site, and perhaps that what the poster who referenced $327 got?I don't believe the EV Base crossbars work in the bed. Those guys are a real class act, but they are site sponsors so I'm sure this comment will disappear soon after reading.
I was able to get a full size spare kit at pre-hike price without much trouble. Where things went sideways was Costa Mesa Service generating the incorrect invoice, then dispatching the mobile tech in the afternoon when the appointment was set, a week in advance, for AM. Since ordering process is different for the crossbars (with no human interaction), I figured the answer would most likely be "no". Good thing it's something I am in no rush to buy.The answer is almost certainly going to be no.
My pre-order dated to 2020, and when I was able to configure, included the crossbars. I wound up getting my R1T from the Shop, and that offering did not have them. I tried to get Rivian to include a set at the older, preferred price but they said it was not possible.
Okay went ahead and bought these too. Will compare.Oh man, these even have a $40 off coupon, totaling $173.19. They're the ones on Amazon.
