can anyone comment on if suspension improvement is noticeable?

WHAT?!? I thought I knew everything about my R1S and assumed you were joking. Learned something new. Thanks! My R1S (June ‘23) has a rear camera sprayer. It works when, while in reverse, you long press the rear wiper button to get a spray on the rear window.
so bad.Unless other Rivians are rendering WAY better than mine, the last thing the rendering does is build confidence. Mine regularly shows overlapping vehicles, road lane markings which rapidly flip-flop between two configurations, vehicles directly in front which are shown pointing in a totally different direction, etc. I’d love to be able to replace it with other content in that prime screen real estate.
Since my first backup camera (2005 Acura MDX IIRC), I've made it a habit of walking past the rear of the vehicle and running my thumb over the camera lens each time I park it if the car is dirty. It's served me well because the only time I "need" the camera is when backing out of a parking space and then it's always clean. If they went as far as mandating rear cameras being locked on and super bright, I wish they’d also mandated rear camera sprayers so you at least have a chance to see something other than a bright smudge for half the year ? (in my state, anyway).
I too had the same problem and this advice worked for me! Thanks for helping! It was annoying to lose the ability to close/open our garage door from the steering wheel. This was a simple fix, thank you!Okay, so I never post in forums, but this one really annoyed me.
I did the soft reboot and it didn't fix it. So I went into the settings turned off the location based garage door on the steering wheel button, then turned it back on and now it works fine.
Settings > Connections > Garages > arrow to the right of your garage. Turn off location based garage opening, then turn it back on. Hopefully that fixes your issue as well.
So you realize these driver assist systems are in place to help drivers have a better awareness of their surroundings and better safety, right? Most drivers don’t use mirrors correctly even though they’ve been around forever. Clearly the idea of “just use your mirrors!” hasn’t worked so maybe some assistance if of real use? Maybe go complain about automatic transmissions and power windows as well?Gen 1 can only render what’s visible in front of it out the windshield, it only has a single camera up front for ADAS. I agree the rendering is pointless and always has been. It can help “build confidence before a lane change” but you know what can instantly and confidently establish that confidence? Your eyes, and the photons bouncing off of your mirrors directly into them at the speed of light.
It’s pretty cool technology, this new mirror stuff. Super high res and no lag at all! ?
I thought I was the only person on earth that did this....nice to know I am not alone!Since my first backup camera (2005 Acura MDX IIRC), I've made it a habit of walking past the rear of the vehicle and running my thumb over the camera lens each time I park it if the car is dirty. It's served me well because the only time I "need" the camera is when backing out of a parking space and then it's always clean.
No! I want it now! (And Apple Music)Assuming its final beta maybe one more week?
I drove a Saab 9-3 on the autobahn in Germany about 20 years ago. Having the entire dashboard dark except for the speedometer is INCREDIBLE for highway driving at night. A totally fun experience and much less fatigue on your eyes.Back in the Day SAAB had a "night mode" ala fighter jet style... and would dim everything but your speedo
