Some of the verbiage here is confusing. Shouldn’t we simply say it’s just not open to non-Teslas? Saying it’s not NACS doesn’t seem accurate since teslas themselves use nacs and the actual connectors on the stations are in fact NACS, aren’t they?
It also wasn’t difficult to turn on one’s own headlights. Or roll up a window. Or lower your own seat when parked. Or set your seat when you get in. Or a million other things that are completely commonplace these days.
I don’t have it yet but I’m a bit concerned about the suspension changes. In soft mode right now I think the ride is perfect. I definitely do not want it stiffer than it currently is. This car is a commuter for 99% of the drivers out there.
I think I’d much prefer the cameras in the driver screen instead of center screen. This is the same way Kia/hyundai do it. To me it makes more sense since it’s right in front of the driver. Looking at the center screen doesn’t make sense to me and seems needlessly dangerous. I think Rivian made...
So you realize these driver assist systems are in place to help drivers have a better awareness of their surroundings and better safety, right? Most drivers don’t use mirrors correctly even though they’ve been around forever. Clearly the idea of “just use your mirrors!” hasn’t worked so maybe...
noticeable in what direction? Car direct is better? If so maybe there’s just something funky going on in my car but I felt mine was pretty poor even with quality setting at highest.
I have changed the quality settings on the trucks. It’s absolutely the case, Bluetooth sounds noticeably better. Bluetooth has plenty high a transmission rate for quality car audio imho and is plenty sufficient for Spotifys highest quality settings. It’s not the same as a direct connection but...
what benefit would that provide? In a home it’s nice for something like Sonos where a person may move around the house so and have poor connection, but in a car Bluetooth is extremely reliable.
and the quality of Spotify streaming from my phone is higher quality than the direct stream in the...
I thought everyone was waiting for entertainment options just like this? But now it sounds like a lot are disappointed? I think it’s cool. I won’t use it much but I’d probably use it once a week or so while in my car eating or waiting on someone.
Yes , obviously it’s a relative term. I’m stating my own opinion on it and it will obviously be subjective. But Look at the release dates and you will see the major dot releases are spreading further apart. That’s part is evident so I’m not sure what you see as trolling. Just stating my...
Correct, it’s not something I care about. I do all my charging at home. It might be useful in the future, who knows? But you’re correct in that it isn’t something I care about.
Btw please show me where I said “useless”. Considering you went thru the effort to use quotes there you’d think one...
I’m assuming you meant 4 weeks not 4 months. And that jives with my comment that they are slowing down, hence my comment. What people don’t seem to understand is that I’m not stating I expect them to cater to my individual needs. I’m simply stating their updates did not pertain to me and I...
Has Rivian trimmed the development team? Seems like updates are taking longer and longer. I also get that with more vehicles on the road they have to be more careful. Hope the next one has something I like. 2024.11 was the least useful thus far.
pretty underwhelming, but I did have one incident 2 months ago where the doors didn’t unlock correctly, so i guess it’s cool
to hopefully get that fixed. Lots of updates to their nav system lately, and it needs it, but man I wish they’d improve the awful driver+
