Thanks for posting. I just played around with the map in the app. Unfortunately in Northern New England, for whatever reason it excludes most of the superchargers that I have tended to rely on as a ten year Tesla owner: eg Hooksett, Lincoln, and West Lebanon in NH, Berlin VT, and Queensbury and Plattsburgh in NY. The ones open will be helpful as backup locations but not primary. I hope Tesla will add more existing superchargers to the list over time, as well as build out more v4 superchargers that are accessible.
Glad to see the progress but it's of little help in the southwest. Everyone of the superchargers I've counted on for exploring the southern half of Colorado, areas of Utah, Arizona and New Mexico remain unavailable. Every one of these locations in this huge area remain "incompatible" even once we have an adapter.

It’s a solid “backup” plan. As far as I can see, the multiple Tesla supercharger stations around my area (metro-west Boston) are show as “incompatible”.

Glad they are prioritizing in order of purchase of truck. I can say that because I am a 3xxx R1T....
It still won't come soon enough. I have a R1T VIN 00004x, so I guess I might be one of the first. I have a 4K mile trip to see the eclipse in TX and then through Monument Valley and Moab before returning to the SF Bay Area starting April 4th. Debating if I order from A2Z or go on my trip without a NACS adapter and be stuck with EA and other networks where RANs aren't available.

No kidding! That is a early one for sure! I might want to take mine in May on a road trip, but if I don't get it....the 17mpg Jeep goes instead.

my biggest question, once we have access to the Tesla charging network, what is the proper charging etiquette since cable will not reach the driver side?

1. try to park in a way that doesn't block another spot, but that will be difficult.
2. Try to not end up in jail when a smug Tesla owner calls you a "jerk" for doing what Tesla is allowing you to do, which is charge your Rivian at their stations.

Repeat steps 1-2

I live in Denver and I'm able to use any Tesla supercharger in CO (with adapter) - are you sure you have your filters setup correctly?

Those aren't all the Tesla superchargers in Colorado. None of the V1 or V2 superchargers are compatible with CCS cars, nor will they ever be. And apparently there needs to be a hardware upgrade for V3 chargers (250 kW) for them to be compatible so not all V3s are listed.

I hear you. I'm particularly bummed about Northern New Mexico, Northern AZ, Southern UT, but this is a solid improvement, nonetheless (Only compatible Tesla shown, inc MD):

I'm not sure what the point of going through a big reveal in the truck (mine did it too) was given adapters won't be available for weeks or months lol.
Because there has been so much wrong information and speculation and confusion being posted about this issue ever since the announcement back in June.

I think the slow rollout of the official Tesla adapters through Ford (and the likely even slower rollout from Rivian, because it's behind Ford) is going to lead to a huge number of people buying the adapters. The delay will lead to pressure from people wanting to use superchargers. There will soon be a UL rating for the adapters (discussed in the state of charge podcast), and the j3400 nacs plug will be a standard. I'm pretty sure that the rules of the government funded superchargers (NEVI program) require standardized chargers - at that time at least I expect Tesla will have to allow safe and verified adapters.

If I was in Tesla's shoes, I'd probably be doing the same thing, but also privately working with the adapter companies on testing. A2Z said they are a member of the UL testing group.

I've seen a number of Supercharger stations where I could Four Wheel it and use the back-side of the charger where no-Tesla has gone before ;)....serious...

How do you know this won't void your warranty etc?
It's no different from wiring up your house with an EV charger. If you use the right gauge of wire and follow the right spec, you shouldn't have an issue. The official adapter doesn't have any magic in it. It's just two plugs and some wiring. People have tested them without issue. I will personally wait until there are a few hundred successful tests, but if the product is built with quality materials and to the right spec, i don't see why it would randomly blow up on you.
