    Have you tried ā€œsport modeā€ when you park which lowers the vehicle to its lowest setting? From their you can use something(s) for your golden to step but its significantly closer ti the ground.

    Why would theyā€¦it doesnā€™t really do anything (optional) yet and is required for the vehicle to operate. Itā€™s a different story when they offer more services via LTE (entertainment, games, more live traffic stuff).

    Good point. My mirrors have frozen in position a few times (think frozen rain). Iā€™ve decided to just turn off the ā€œauto foldā€ in settings until it warms up (mid April). Generally a gentle push by hand would get them unstuck and extended for safe drivingā€¦

    Soft reset is completely unrelated and a waste of time. Try a hard reset but itā€™s likely a mechanical failure that needs a service appointment

    I have had zero issues for 13 mos with a Tesla home charger and Lectron adapter setup. Of course now you can buy the Tesla universal charger which can plug in to your CCS Rivian without an extra adapterā€¦.but again, no issues and charge at approx 23 mph

    Agreed with you but would point out that I noticed that awful drone seems to have mostly disappeared after I passed about 24k miles (and still with decent tread). It was pretty awful from an about 15k or so through 24kā€¦but seems to be gone now (mostly)

    Itā€™s funny that you are talking in terms of ā€œweeksā€. Itā€™s more likely going to be months before the majority of current owners receive adaptersā€¦ I would be surprised if everyone has them before 2025 after the manual tonneau fiasco

Youā€™re likely not liable for anything (I agree there), but Rivian has repeatedly specified that their adapter is currently the only one ā€œauthorizedā€ for useā€¦.so if ā€œsomething happensā€, while you might not end up ā€œliable for damagesā€, Rivian (and your warranty) also...

    If you got CS and they told you it has to come in, then why would you think multiple resets would change anything. Itā€™s inconvenient, but itā€™s a vehicle, it has a problem, you know what needs to be doneā€¦you just donā€™t like itā€¦.
