Lest everyone seems to forget that at one point in time, you purchased a vehicle and lived with EXACTLY how it rolled off the lot for the entirety of your ownership.

People arguing over 'why can't we get X, Y, or Z,' are a bunch of the entitled people I'd prefer to distance myself from. The same people who would lose their absolute minds if the software improvement presented a bug that irked them (and who don't understand what it takes to QC and release software, especially as quickly as Rivian is).

The very IDEA you can buy a vehicle today, that can incrementally get better, is INCREDIBLE, and I'm here for it!

Maybe...you pick a dual performance and that maybe essentially what is happening. Thus the possibility exists for an upgrade in future. This isn't 100% certain but has speculated as case.

I was hoping the long period between releases would mean this update would be more significant. I guess not. Is this the smallest update yet? Who was asking for individual child locks? Does RJ have one particularly difficult child?

Cool, another useful update and I'm looking forward to the various ride/suspension settings. Some other things I didn't know I needed as well. Still waiting for Alexa to allow me to fold the mirrors (or 1 touch somehow).

For years? lol. I do agree tho. Will probably end up charging us for it.

My wife's Volkswagen I.D.4 has customizable RGB interior lighting that we didn't have to pay a dime for. I'm disappointed this has been reserved for Halloween only. Will be even more disappointed if this becomes a paid feature.

It's the amount added to your config total if you were to select Performance Dual over standard Dual. Post-delivery upgrade has not been announced and no pricing set.

There is a thread on this forum with some list on it.

I just ask her yo do things, she tells me if she can’t do it. Most useful things for me are HVAC controls and directions.
