Lubed tonneaus - is yours still working?

If you lubed your tonneau before it broke, is it still working?

Please only respond to the poll if you lubed your tonneau rails (with wet or dry lube) before it broke.

I have had my R1T for about 8 months, lubed the tonneau twice, and it's still working as expected. Curious to know how others are faring.

I used a dry lube and mine is still working although I try to use sparingly. Hopeful for a replacement in early 23.

Same. Have dry lubed twice. Still working without any problems, though I only open it up 2-3 times a week.

Yes, but in my case it is garage kept and I use the tonneau about 1/4 of the time it would be engaged otherwise, knowing it is so fragile. I also help it along both close and a bit towards full open.

Dry lubed on day 1. Used it this morning without issue, in fact.

Mine is working. Cleaned the rails; put silicone spray lube on it. Have only opened and closed it fully a few times. Currently it's closed for the winter.

Have had the truck 9 months, lubed once 3 months ago with CRC. Open and closed 5 to 7 times a week. Live up a 1200' dirt driveway off a half mile dirt road. I wouldn't ever open it with ice on it or a large amount of "debris" unless 100% necessary. Fingers crossed it lasts.

I lube it about once a month and use it regularly with no issues whatsoever. Takes no more than 5 minutes and saves a lot of potential aggravation.

Not sure why you're restricting the poll to only people who "lube". That biases the results.

Mine works, but the only time I open it is for demonstration purposes. I haven’t lubed it yet.

I use dry lube about once a month. Had the truck since July. Parked in the garage. Use the tonneau 5-7 times per week. So far, so good.

I use mine regularly. Have lubed it twice in 4 months. I have had a few times where it falsely detected an obstruction and stopped. But just had to close again
