  1. Closing charge port door is a pain -- Am I missing something?

    On thing I have found is just pressing the frunk button once and waiting about 10s wakes the vehicle but does not open the frunk. That way I can then open or close the charge port without going back inside the house or into the vehicle.

    I have left the door open upon unplugging and it is always closed in the morning. It will auto close the next time it wakes up.

    FYI. You can renew up to 90 days in advance. So if you want to up your registration prior to 9/1 you can do that even if you registration doesn’t expire until November.

    If you hit the hazard or long press your name the vehicle will capture diagnostics. They are available to techs. I believe there are several things that cause this behavior 1. Open the door - doubtful here 2. Lift out of seat without seatbelt - maybe 3. Vehicle hold error - possible 4...

    Mine didn’t stop working but one side did require a press in a specific location and did not work consistently They were able to replace it on a mobile visit.

    Thanks. I have family in Lubbock so I think we will go through there and charge overnight, so will bypass Oklahoma on the way up at least. Really wish Lubbock had a fast charger that was non-Tesla

    Any thought of hinging it at the passenger rear seat edge so you could leave it installed and be able to access the under seat compartment without out needing to raise the subwoofer side?

    Yes, the tunnel is connected to the cabin and also more climate controlled than the frunk. Frunk can get really hot.

    Never. I put all my takeout in the frunk. It is awesome and keeps the cabin smelling great.

    Two things 1. get a squeegee with window cleaner. They don’t have them at charging stations 2. Make sure you have a Tesla adapter for destination charging.

  19. How are you cleaning the black body cladding?

    I have used Armour All wipes with great success and ease of use. Seems to have a lasting affect, maybe not as long as ceramic, but much easier. may try to ceramic version of the wipes.
