Yeah, or more practical spots to stash smallish things. Like a low height shelf under the screen or a glove box. The shape and size of the console means it just turns into a junk pile with granular flow (the smallest things fall to the bottom). The weird seat pocket containers are not exactly good for accessing while under way.You would prefer a less cavernous center console?
That's only wierd if you've never smelled it (the washer fluid, that is)...This is getting weird
Personally, I get hints of Pine Sol.That's only wierd if you've never smelled it (the washer fluid, that is)...
I charge my Samsung no problem seams to like area closest to the storage doorI have seen reviews that the charging pad doesn’t work that well. Is that y’all’s experience? And can you charge two phones at once? Thanks!
If you have different profiles for you and her, the seat positions will be tied to them. If you use you phone as a key, it should load the appropriate profile and seat position.Does anyone know if there’s a way to turn on something like “easy entry” on the rivian. In my tesla, the seat moves back when either I or my wife parks the car and gets out. Then if I sit after her, I have plenty of legroom to sit. I couldn’t find a similar setting in the rivian, so if I try to get in the driver seat after she’s driven, I slam my knees against the dash trying to get in lol
That's not quite what he is talking about. If you enable this feature in the X a few minutes after you put the car in P the seat goes all the way back and stays there until someone steps on the brake pedal at which time the door closes and the seat and steering wheel move into positions associated with the fob present. This is handy because it's not that easy to get yourself into an X with the driver seat in a typical driving position. It seems much easier to enter an R1T with the seat in driving position (limited experience) and so it does not have this feature nor does it seem to need it.If you have different profiles for you and her, the seat positions will be tied to them. If you use you phone as a key, it should load the appropriate profile and seat position.
Yea I understand it’s not a Tesla thing, but it is Well implemented by them with the phone key. Also implemented in most luxury brands. My main issue is slamming my knees in the dash after my wife drives with the seat up close lol. Seems something simple they could add in a software update. I hope they do!Easy entry/access has been around a long time and not really a “Tesla thing”. I am ambivalent to it but kinda surprised it isn’t on the Rivians.
Can't have everything from the get go....patience young grasshopperEasy entry/access has been around a long time and not really a “Tesla thing”. I am ambivalent to it but kinda surprised it isn’t on the Rivians.
I’m not really to one to reply to since I don’t particularly care for the feature, but I agree it’s something that could be addressed with an update. Can't have everything from the get go....patience young grasshopper
I hope it DOES change. tailgate down makes the vehicle longer, so that should be reflected in the CS,Ed’s view, imho (but it probably isn’t)Does having the tailgate down mess up the birdseye view or affect the backup camera view? I hope they would have thought about this and expect the birdseye isn't changed, but less sure about the backup camera view. Thanks
I was thinking about whether a camera would be blocked or aimed incorrectly once the tailgate was dropped. Since the view is live, you will certainly see the tailgate down in the video.I hope it DOES change. tailgate down makes the vehicle longer, so that should be reflected in the CS,Ed’s view, imho (but it probably isn’t)
