Invite email received June 17. Order placed June 18. My reservation was April 12, 2025. I had submitted the paperwork for my leased Chevy Equinox EV last month as it is ending on September 1st. I'm guessing that's why I received an invite to order.
If the 4-8 week estimate holds up, I should have it by the middle of August which works well for when I have to turn my lease in. Fingers crossed.

How hot is it where you live? Makes sense to me in Vegas when temps stay in triple digits for a long time

It is a service center that they do deliveries in. I also drove by the showroom and they had one for demo drives and one inside the showroom. Was trying to see a Cataline Cove in person but no luck. Doesn't sound like may have shipped this way (yet).

Atlanta has had R2 demos since they started two weeks ago at either the downtown location or Alpharetta. No demos from the original Service Center location. Use the scheduler and it will show you locations and then availability.

I know. I was more so looking at what they had on their lots to catch a glimpse of other colors and if they were doing deliveries. I have already test driven it.

I did that back in May 2022 when my number was pulled for my R1T. Wanted to see Red Canyon and Compass Yellow in person before deciding so drove over from BHM and dropped in on the original temporary ATL SC and their holding lot.

Judging from reports from test drives the pre-production units that got shipped everywhere are primarily HMG, CC, & GW. Other than an occasional LG I don't think anything else has been reported. It's not as big a deal for me with R2 since the choices are so limited, but I would like to see Esker in person.

I'll be honest, I mainly chose CC so no one will confuse my R2 for an R1S.

At the dealer I went to for my demo they had large panels of color choices on display. When I asked why they didn’t have Borealis the guy pulled out a shelf that I hadn’t seen and there were several other colors. When we saw Borealis in person we were sold.
