Wiper Courtesy Wipe on start -- any way to disable?

Is there a way to turn off the courtesy wipe? I suspect that the sensor may detect dust and the wiper swipes on dry glass. I could not find courtesy wipe in the owners' manual search.

Nope. Thankfully, they stay off. (mine are off for this very reason)

Mine only seems to do it if dust is detected when I start off not every time.

Courtesy wipe can be nice, all depends on the wiper and wiping product.

Opposite problem for me. Just drove through torrential downpours in ME and my wipers on auto would not wipe. 0 courtesy wipes. No wiping at all. Had to be my own wiper decision maker. Was nerve wracking. Kept asking myself “Is this a downpour or a storm?”
