    I grew up in the south where a ā€œtabā€ is called a registration sticker. I live in WA now and find the terminology to be a bit odd on a few things. Iā€™d start a campaign to correct things like this but I think the oddities are preferred. I can poke fun. I live here. šŸ˜Š

    This is a long standing issue that started with the June 2023 OTA. I thought it was bad (it is) but it got even worse with 2024.07.03. Now the AC compressor quickly ramps to max (buzzing and vibration), runs for 23 seconds and instantly drops to zero. Wait 2 minutes and it ramps again to max...

    Where to fix tire puncture?

    Most any tire shop can patch. You just need to remove the tire and take it. If you donā€™t have the jack kit or a puck, then yes, go to Discount Tire or Rivian SC. Thereā€™s probably more to this frustration story than whatā€™s been said.

    Itā€™s also a safety failover. In the event the driver screen malfunctions, some control functions will move to the center screen. At least thatā€™s how it used to be designed.

    You beat me to it. I recall when the design for this leaked. Seems destined for R2 and might use the attachment ports at rear bumper.

    As an owner of 8/2022 build R1S I can say itā€™s been solid. Plus you get the original spec: under dash power, frunk power, rear headrest hook surround in wood, Meridian sound system.

    Itā€™s the AC compressor running a cooling cycle, in this case for your battery. In my opinion itā€™s flawed software logic running the compressor at full tilt regardless of ambient or battery temperature. In my case the compressor ramps up to full tilt on every single drive cycle before moderating...
