When has SpaceX put a human in an unproven space ship? They actually seem fairly conservative by testing so much. You just can't test a rocket in private.

Tesla quality issues continue to be prolific.I decided not to purchase a Tesla partially because have a tendency the ship out low quality cars at times. First impressions matter. If Rivian kicks out a shit product that needs a lot of fixes after release they may not ever recover from bad PR.
Rock that low angle Ultrawide! ?I did stop by the new service center in Bellevue, WA and snapped these photos. I asked a worker what was their timeline and he looked at me like “in your dreams pal”. No information was provided.
The building is equipped with tank turn to pivot away from the sun...Random thought: for a company intent on having a small environmental footprint, having black buildings is going either use a lot of A/C or make working in the summers suck.
Building appears to be made of concrete/masonry, which acts as a thermal battery, anyway. Also, they've got several large garage doors in front of the service bays. Even when closed they don't exactly seal well against air movement, and when they're open you're basically just "outside" with some cover against direct sun exposure.Random thought: for a company intent on having a small environmental footprint, having black buildings is going either use a lot of A/C or make working in the summers suck.
Agreed. I was just having some fun with it.Building appears to be made of concrete/masonry, which acts as a thermal battery, anyway. I think the color of the exterior walls is the least of their energy concerns. Besides, if they install solar on the roof then they can offset at least some of their consumption.
Those are some tired looking hounds.So...made the pilgrimage from Everett to Bellevue and then Downtown Seattle yesterday. Brought The Pack for an adventure at a big park near the Bellevue location.
Charged up at the Whole Foods a stone's throw from the Bellevue location.
Bellevue site is still very much fenced off.? ????
Perplexed that the Federal Army & Navy Surplus Store site in Downtown Seattle is still Open for business as usual. ?
Maybe it's a lease timing thing?!? Kinda makes sense that a retail/admin office type of location would be lower priority than the Service Center for Supporting LE Deliveries.
