I feel you @TollKeeper I'm in the process of completing paperwork with a March 17th pick up date here in So Cal... I've always been frugal so spending this on a car has been a ride. Thankfully, I have a lot of confidence in the longevity of the R1S - felt like it was time in my career and life to do some self care and get a car that I can explore trails with the dogs up in the Sierras and not worry about clearance....I'm grateful financially to have a secure job and to be able to pay in cash so I'm not taking on any debt. At some point its ok to get something you enjoy and will use for your little ones and keep them safe. I wish you the best - I ordered a 2025 R1S Ascend Trim.I just confirmed my R1S order from the Shop...
And my heart is about to jump out of my chest. Not from excitement, but from being scared. The anxiety is real!
I have never purchased a new car before, and in fact, I never intended to ever buy a new car.
I have never paid more than 10k for a car.. This is quite a bit more than that!
I am a car guy/wrench head. I love turning wrenches. My body.. Not so much any more. 1 blown disc, and 4 semi-blown discs will do that... And having 2 kinds under the age of 5!
Any words of wisdom out there?
As configured is in my signature.
Wishing you and your family all the best and enjoy the road!
