This is why I sound like such a fanboy defending Rivian's software. The way some people talk it is clear they've never actually had a vehicle with truly bad software. Rivian's is better than most overall.

With the major exception being their HVAC logic. Not looking forward to another winter with that.

We were just talking about that. The stupid threshold around 71-72 between AC or heat. Wish there was the ability to override AC off

Should be such an easy fix to give a dedicated hot/cold mode.

My biggest complaints are usually items where they have the stance of " we can do this better" but stay off with a worse version of something simple making us wait out the full implementation. (Like onboard music)

Everyone has refreshed and checked the app at least 10 times this week, right? I've probably eaten a solid 1% of battery checking for my update...

I'm pretty sure I have hit this just today so far. Internal was released a week ago (7 days). Based on the past 4 updates, we should be getting this released to public now (3 days for 2023.22, 4 days for 2023.26, 7 days for 2023.30, 6 days for 2023.34).

I think we should keep fingers crossed for max of 7 days from internal to public release.

They haven't had minor versions in a while. Wouldn't be surprised to see one after the big drive mode change.

I track the dates on the website. This is an update with more than just a few small enhancements. They're rolling out the changed UI for drive modes, which either needs more time than usual, or they've had this in their back pocket for a few releases now and are offering us breadcrumbs because they're still working on the big streaming app + enhanced camera view update package.

Sorry, it's because of me. My R1T delivery was delayed 3 times, so now that I finally have it, they thought it'd be funny to delay the update 3 times.
