RAN in Las Vegas is great! Quick charge to reach Barstow RAN - Higher MPH or Lower MPH??
The Barstow RAN needs an expansion. Was there twice about a month ago (to/from Vegas) and it was full each time. From what I remember, they had plenty room for more chargers. -

Self park feature?
The expectation that Rivianās software stack is as good as Teslaās is today is ridiculous. Tesla has been doing this longer than anyone else, and is multiple generations ahead of everybody. If impatience with certain impending features is deterring from purchasing/keeping a vehicle, then maybe... -
110 Charging Using Light Bulb Socket Adapter
Donāt know if thatāll work or not, but charging on a 110 would probably take you the entire week vacation to fully charge š¤£ -

Iāve had this happen multiple times. I think what happens is that when you have a charge session schedule set, it will work as intended the first time. If you manually stop the charging session before it completes its scheduled charge, the system thinks youāll want to continue that same... -

What's your R2 predictions?
If Rivian wants to keep up technology wise, they should go 48v/800v, LFP and Gigapress. A lot to ask for, but theyāre building their new Georgia plant from the ground up. Nowās the perfect time!- ER1T

Longest service center appointment?
Just got mine back after 4 weeks in service. I was told when dropping it off, that they probably wouldnāt even start looking at it for 7-10 days. Then they had to order parts from the factory, that took multiple days. But I knew when purchasing the vehicle, there would be some issues when...- ER1T

Issues at L3 chargers
Iāve only DCFC once and had the same experience with EA. Took 3 attempts in order to work. FYI, youāre only going to see peek speeds of around 220KW, between 20-50% SoC. And thatās in optimal conditions. -
Future updates I'd like to see

Front Motors running hot
With only 2 motors doing all the heavy lifting (conserve mode), it would make sense that they would run hotter than normal. Especially on short trips. On longer trips, the airflow and less regen would help reduce temps.- ER1T

Taillights blinking randomly while truck is locked and off
Normal behavior when the phone or remote is within proximity of the vehicle. Itās acknowledging that it detects the signal close by.- ER1T
