I am just suspecting since there doesn’t appear to be a wiper that there would be a backup way (no pun intended) to see out. The Fisker Ocean went without a wiper and that’s how they worked around it.
The spoiler is the usual method to deal with rear glass snow sans wiper.

Wouldn't be surprised if it was augmented with a digital rear view camera or at least a high-mounted camera that can be shown on the center screen.

Just an R2 badge in the corner. No R2S so maybe no R2T in the foreseeable future?
That would be an error IMO. Rivian will have the small pickup to itself. With Ford running away, the only other competitor at the moment is the imaginary Nissan-Fisker.

With this teaser and the grainy spy rooftop shots, is it safe to assume that the glass roof is flat over the seats but then curves over the trunk area, with the spoiler on top? If so, is there precedence for such a roof design on an SUV?

How reliable has your Model 3 been in those 100,000 miles. I just hit 41,000 miles on my 2021 SR+ and it has been rock-solid reliable. Not a single issue so far (other than the sh!tty automatic windshield wipers).
Just shy of 6 years and 104,000 miles on my Model 3. Here's the maintenance so far with a 2nd set of new tires being required in the next 5,000 miles...

Excellent reliability and still on the original 12 V battery. Other than a wheel alignment, the M3 has not gone in for service.
One issue is the Colorado road salt tends to gum up the brake caliper tracks so every 2 years when I rotate tires, I wire brush the rust and relube.

At 100k mls, it's barely being broken in
You are correct. But just speaking for me, while the M3 is more fun to drive, I find the low seats uncomfortable on long drives. The Rivian with its high seating is much more comfortable for me.

Just purchased an R1T on Friday, I'm pretty confident I'll be putting in a reservation for this as a replacement for our Mach E. The timing on that works out pretty well.
I talked to my wife a month ago. I had already signed up to stream tomorrow. She said, "let's put down $100 to reserve it". Who am I to argue with my wife?. We already have an R1T and love it.

As it gets closer to delivery, we might decide not to get it, but I want to be in line.

The one thing I hope they do is make the vehicle cheaper to repair.if it gets in an accident. On the R1T (I know this is only going to be an R2S), but if you get damage anywhere on the truck, they basically have to rebuild the skin from scratch because they are 1 piece. If you look at the older Honda Ridgelines they were a uni-body and the newer ones are not..

Looking like we getting a digital rear view camera and no wiper. Lookin clean!
I'd be very surprised if there's no rear wiper. You can't really tell by those pictures though because a wiper could be hidden up top, under what appears to be a spoiler of some sort. Or it could be mounted on the glass if that glass doesn't roll down.

Ask any Ioniq 5 owner how well that works in practice. It doesn't. Forget about RainX etc. too. Thankfully the 2025 refresh finally is adding one! Would be a big disappointment to see the R2 without a rear wiper.

I was thinking the same thing, but I don't know how that works with the website leak saying "powered rear glass" (how can it "roll down" into the tailgate if it's curved or even angled?)... As for precedent, yes there's an extent to which any modern SUV with a spoiler uses it to reduce the appearance of just how sloped the back window is. But the upcoming Wagoneer S EV is an extreme example.
