You don't do this already?
Not at EVERY light. Although sometimes I want to pull an Alan Ruck and plow right through

That's the look of joy man. The day I don't have that look when I drive my vehicle is the day I look for something else.

I can't wait to use this at every stoplight as I drive across my town.

This is amazing. Very exciting times. Go Rivian.

As one that frequent the track with my cars, it's nice to see faster EV SUVs crushing into the sub 3 second territory, let alone running 10s (w/ the new Quad).

You guys won't believe the ego popping going on at the tracks as EVs destroy the loud for nothing cars.

It's to the point where the loud for nothing cars turn off their engine at the light to let the EVs (Usually Plaids) go first so that they (ICE cars) don't get shamed. These aren't no time cars either. (For those that don't know, when tuning for bracket competitive racing some cars are "no time" where it doesn't show their times.)

Pirelli enthusiastically approves this message.
I guess Pirelli uses the same compound for R1 and F1. Neither tires last very long ?. We need Michelin.

Just got to get the pronunciation right. “Racing tires” is pronounced “e-Racing tires”

?

As a former track coach, I just love the fact that the animation for this is Gary getting down in a three point stance...he just needs some starting blocks!

I'm so glad I can get that feature rather than Captain's chairs or an easily maneuverable second row bench or a retractable sun shade that actually blocks the light or, I don't know useful stuff for real people

USB playback should be on that list somewhere, too. I feel your pain.

One thing I've never understood is why not have a speedo right in the middle, as shown in the video? Current dash has a lot of wasted space with cats and dogs walking etc. I hope they update that soon.
One thing that video reminds me of is how silly it is to have critical driving data hiding down behind a small steering wheel with spokes. The information can only be seen if you adjust the steering wheel to one particular position, which may or may not be the best ergonomics for you. And then, when you turn the steering wheel, the data is obscured by your arms and/or the spokes of the steering wheel.

I don't like looking down into a recessed hole to see important data, and I don't like the pain between my shoulder blades that happens from not having a lower steering position.

This location was ok back in the day, when steering wheels were huge with skinny rims and spokes, and when you couldn't adjust the steering position anyway, but in modern cars it just sucks. Yet manufacturers keep doing it because that's the way it's always been done, and they can't see the fallacy of doing it that way with a small steering wheel with a thick rim and spokes.

That's an improvement, but it looks like it still hides some driver info behind the wheel. If I need to adjust the steering position for comfort, I really can't, because I need to adjust it to the only height that allows me to peer down into that hole.

It's dumb to force drivers to look through the steering wheel.
