The newsroom confirmed a few things for me. Notably, Esker Silver is the free color for all trims. Launch Edition, can pay to upgrade to Launch Green. Interior for Performance and LE is the Black Crater Signature (Birchwood). Re-reading this, it does say Coastal Cloud is optional on Performance...

IMO, the R2 is a direct competitor to the Toyota 4Runner (third gen) from exterior shaping to the roll down rear window. Weird that the Edmunds video even said that the designers didn't have the Toyota on their board for exterior comparisons.

Yep, it's nice to have. There's also the frunk and the subtrunk (compact spare tire) that people should consider regarding the amount of storage the R2 has.
This is a small subset of Rivian owners or prospective R2 reservation holders, but isn't it crazy how many reservations there are for CA vs all the other states combined?
