Ethylene glycol? But it lacks the sweetness
I think they aim the nozzles low on windshield, so max smell is picked up by HVAC intake. Haha!
"Green" RainX Bug remover has the same smell as whatever was in the tank when they delivered mine. I would agree it is strangely pleasant.Any updates? I'm scared to use my windshield washers because I don't want to run out and lose the smell
Yep - me too. And the tank is pretty huge.Mine was delivered with like 4 ounces of wiper fluid in the tank
I think the tank is slightly too small. when the reminder comes on to add fluid, I would like to be able to add the entire gallon. I hate when I have a tiny bit left in the bottle.Yep - me too. And the tank is pretty huge.
That explains why my smell didn't go away! I have to admit I have never sniffed a jug of washer fluid before, so I missed that."Green" RainX Bug remover has the same smell as whatever was in the tank when they delivered mine. I would agree it is strangely pleasant.
I've had to refill mine a couple times. Each time I dump the entire gallon in. It takes it.I think the tank is slightly too small. when the reminder comes on to add fluid, I would like to be able to add the entire gallon. I hate when I have a tiny bit left in the bottle.
The only problem I see is Green Rain-X is only good for temperatures above freezing. Rivian's clearly works below freezing, so there must be more to it."Green" RainX Bug remover has the same smell as whatever was in the tank when they delivered mine. I would agree it is strangely pleasant.
Is that a photo from the service center ?Per Service they use this commercial pink one:
Genuine Chemistry (GC) all-season windshield washer fluid
Though the other thread I saw had a yellow one which might be the Normal Listerine. I'm currently squirting blue and doesn't smell bad so maybe they are all minty and we just never knew it.

Yes, they sent the photo when they sent the brand. Overly helpful which was kind of them.Is that a photo from the service center ?
I guess I should try to siphon out some of the fluid currently in the tank and see what color it is.
Was the pink a match?Yes, they sent the photo when they sent the brand. Overly helpful which was kind of them.
I checked my color by putting a paper towel on the windshield which worked decently.
did you call genuine chem? Was the pink a match?
If this is the one...how do we buy some? Couldn't find it for sale online.
Their website makes it seem like they don’t do any direct to consumer sales, unfortunately.Per Service they use this commercial pink one:
