  1. No cell, wifi, hotspot or GPS

Same issue here, to add a data point. Noticed it this morning and still not connectivity as of this afternoon. AT&T on my phone is fine, so this must be a Rivian/ATT issue.
  2. Trouble in the snow with my QM R1T Adventure

I'm a little late to this party but this is my second winter in Park City with the R1T and I noticed exactly what you describe the first few times I drove in snow with the 20" Pirellis (Oct-Dec 2022, prior to Snow Mode). I put on some Nokian Hakkapeliitta LT3s (not studded) in Dec of 2022 and it...
  3. Slight Sideswipe in Parking Lot - Guess How Much to FIX??

I just did this last night trying to do a 3 point turn in a tight driveway with a giant stone retaining wall, in the snow. Slid enough to hit the wall. Haven't reported it yet either and like you will have two teen drivers coming on the policy soon. But based on everything I've read this is...
  4. Rivian R1T tailgate pad installed review: it's a winner (with a caveat)

I just used the pad for two 120 mile round trips in the mountains on some winding roads and had no issues with the strap coming loose on the bike. My process - unlocking the clip, putting on the bike, folding the velcro strap first, then locking the clips and tightening the straps. Maybe the...
  5. R1T Tailgate Pad arrives in the Gear Shop

Installed mine yesterday and the fit on the truck is perfect. I really like how it has corner pockets that slip over the bottom edges of the tailgate, gives it a snug fit and seems like it would at least make it a little harder for someone to take it off (although I haven't tried to "steal" it...
  6. PSA - DO NOT USE LECTRON ADAPTOR w/ Tesla Wall Charger on Rivian

I think if you are both driving 90+ miles a day and then have hours of nightly charging for both vehicles, the best and most flexible solution as others have mentioned is to have two Tesla chargers on a PowerShare setup - one J1772 and one Tesla. It's what we have in our garage, sharing a 60a...
  7. Using Tesla wall charger with the Rivian?

This^^^ In the web interface for the charger you can select 'All Vehicles', 'Only Tesla' or 'Authorized Teslas Only', and I believe it's Tesla by default.
  8. Tesla J1772 “Black” Charger - reviews / experiences?

It has been rock solid for us so far. If it's the only car charging (we have two cars sharing a circuit) I usually get about 22 miles/hour on the 60a circuit outputting 48a. The power sharing between our two wall chargers has been flawless. I imagine you have to change the access control to...
  9. Tesla J1772 “Black” Charger - reviews / experiences?

Correct, there is no app. You login to the panel directly through your browser. From there you can really only control circuit setup, power sharing, access control. There is no reporting on rates AFAIK. I schedule charging for the Rivian through the truck/RIvian app. My wife has a Model Y and...
  10. 2023.6.2 OTA Update Released to Public

It did update during the last OTA, so maybe it was a residual update message from last time. I guess I'll see if it appears again. It let me turn on proximity locking for the fob, I assume it wouldn't if it needed an update.
  11. 2023.6.2 OTA Update Released to Public

Does anyone know how to "force" a key fob update? Mine got the software update overnight. When I got into the car this morning after the update installed, it said there was a key fob update available. I didn't have the fob handy so I pressed later. Now it's not showing me any available update...
  12. Tesla J1772 “Black” Charger - reviews / experiences?

I have this charger and it's great. We have it on a power share with another Tesla charger that my wife uses on her MY. In the web interface I believe you can limit it to 'All Vehicles', 'Only Tesla' or 'Authorized Teslas Only', but no current way to limit it to 'authorized non-Teslas only'.
  13. PSA! Rivian doesn't recommend using a Tesla adapter with Rivian Wall Charger... it melted my pin

This is the exact setup I have at home and for the same reasons. I have the two chargers sharing a 60a circuit out of my 200a of service. The load balancing works like a charm.
  14. Software Version 2023.02.0 [beta] -- Improved EPA range, key fob firmware, new door ajar notification, steering improvement & more...

I hope this is what I think it is. Since the last update, when you look at a list of songs it only shows song name, not artist name. Hopefully this fixes that and in Tidal as well as in Spotify.
  15. Charging to Optimize Battery Life - What's Your Strategy?

Most days I drive less than 50 miles and usually less than 35. When I get home I'm usually somewhere between 50-60% (it's been really cold so I'm getting worse range than normal.) I have it set to 70% and plug in every night when I get home. Do the same with my wife's MY although hers is set to...
  16. Very disappointing snow experience

    Yes. I got these: https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/posts/263624/
  17. Anyone running Hakka R5 SUVs?

If the load rating is ok I imagine that would work. I would hope that one day the software will alllow you to select wheel size and tire type like you can on my wife’s Model Y. I saw that Nokian has a R5 EV tire, but the sizes aren’t close to what a Rivian needs. Hopefully they expand the offering.
  18. Anyone running Hakka R5 SUVs?

I don’t think the R5s come in 275/65/20, which is why I got the LT3s (which have been awesome.) Unless you are trying to fit a different size tire in the wheel?
  19. Advice on how to do my snow tire set up - questions from a skiing flatlander

For peace of mind, get the winter tires. Worst case you’ll extend the life of the ATs. I had a local tire shop mount them on the same wheels. If you have the money and storage space a second set of wheels is nice.
  20. Very disappointing snow experience

I just had them swapped at a local tire shop. Had to bring in the pucks for the lift but otherwise it was straightforward. Might consider a second set of wheels when there are more options.
