I Have the lauch addition R1T. It has always had the low speed raddle. I have taken it in to the SanFrancisco service center 3 times, just for this problem, that has gotten worse. Each time I was told something different. #1- it is normal for this truck,# 2- it is a front suspension issue , that the factory and the manufacture of the parts are trying to determine who will pay for the fix and #3- finally after demanding to talk to a manager , I went on a long test drive with 2 senior engineers, and the manager that is, according to the manager, in charge of helping to engineer a body frame connection problem, that they say causes the truck to raddle at slow speeds. This senior engineer further stated that the factory came up with a change for the new models that failed after 1 month.
At this point there is no solution to this problem and they don"t know why it doesn't happen in all trucks and who knows what the truth is. It only took 16 months to get my tonneau cover fixed, I guess we all have a long wait for this problem too.
Does anyone know how we could contact the factory or RJ directly?
