The RAN in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania is under construction with 8 charging dispensers at KoP Mall. The pin on the MyMaps should be more or less accurate.





The RAN in Tallahassee, Florida will have a total of 14 charging dispensers installed in the parking lot of the REI. I posted the permit a while back, but the site plans have recently surfaced. I used them as a prop for an April Fools day joke that fell very flat, so that's the context behind the Tweet.

I've also included a full plan view photo, and one of the site plan pages as a PDF.

And last, but also definitely least important, the permit for Cabazon has been updated to indicate that 8 charging dispensers are planned.

Lots of tiny news bits this weekend. No new sites, however there are many updates. I'm only going to link the Tweets below the most important updates, and the lesser ones will be at the bottom.


First, the RAN in Asheville is now under construction. I was also tagged in a post where someone said that the RAN in Nags Head is being built, although I haven't seen any corroborating evidence to back that up, yet.




The RAN in Monticello is now back in permitting, almost a year and a half since the original permit was sent in. This time, Rivian has finalized the plan set, so the permitting process should go by more quickly.




Now for the other updates:

Building permits have been filed for the RAN stations in Chandler, Arizona and Tumalo, Oregon. The number of charging dispensers at Chandler has been reduced from 16 to 12, while the number at Tumalo stayed at 6.

The RAN station in Sacramento is soon due for a Gen 1.5 site upgrade. Permits were filed last month for a general site retrofit, as well as the addition of 2 new charging dispensers. The existing Level 2 chargers will be removed as a result.

That's true but do you want them to add "not going to get to it for awhile" locations like Tesla does? Think I'd rather have them promote locations that are already under construction and will complete in less than a year.

What is the Minnesota location? Clicking on the pin says “Maple Grove” but that is not where it is located on the map. Maple Grove would make sense as there is an REI there.

Based on job postings, looks like new Rivian service center coming to Rohnert Park, CA. Doesn't show yet on official Rivian map of coming soon. And the city's permit website doesn't allow public searches by name, so I cannot verify a location.
