The RAN in Astoria is now open:




And permits have been issued for the RAN in Tinton Falls, New Jersey.

Permits are back in for Waco, TX (charger count has been downgraded from 8 to 6)





And Rivian finally realized the RAN in Tysons, VA is under construction, though by the looks of it still don't know West Hartford and Norfolk exist.

The Hailey, Idaho (Sun Valley) RAN charging location was conditionally approved by the Hailey planning and zoning commission this evening pending Rivian installs a rock or something for us to sit on and picnic while we charge.

From a technical perspective, in addition to the new dispenser style with longer cables, it was nice to see 8 dispensers split in pairs.

Can’t wait for it to be added to the map.

The Hailey, Idaho (Sun Valley) RAN is now under active construction with Rivian equipment on site, a friend spotted it over the weekend. Per Rivian SC Coming Soon, where the location is always at the bottom of the diamond, it is most likely 3363 Arden.

Here are some of the latest updates on the RAN:

1. Be on the lookout for Gen 1.5 RAN conversions on the East Coast. The stations in Charlotte and Henderson, North Carolina are now open to all, and in Atlanta and Augusta, Georgia, workers have been spotted converting the sites to Gen 1.5.

Got it. I hadn't even noticed that Rivian had removed some tentative new service centers. Looks like they changed their mind on a few of them. Maybe just a priority call, and they will get to them later.
