The ol’ GMC Blowjob! Sorry, that’s all I think of when I see Hummer. Main reason I could never drive one…that and won’t fit on any trails I’d want to drive on. ?

It is the same color they offer on the Corvette. Looks great in person.Yup I almost bought that color but decided that the truck already had that look at me style but with that orange might be too much... but I love the color and something posted some pics of one on fb group and looks killer
Lol not even sure what you mean by that but I'll tell you it probably feels better than a rivian ?The ol’ GMC Blowjob! Sorry, that’s all I think of when I see Hummer. Main reason I could never drive one…that and won’t fit on any trails I’d want to drive on. ?![]()
Vs the people who buy rivians that say things like overcompensation? Not really sure why people say that about anyone spending a lot of money on cars...I feel the same way about rivian and tesla owners too but I own all 3 lol... maybe I'm overcompensating somewhere ?Eh. It's just too big for me to drive. Vehicles like that seem like overcompensation machines to me personally. I know a lot of people like those for all sorts of reasons though, I just couldn't do it personally.
Its not about the money, its about the unnecessary size. The hummer is comically huge, it makes you wonder about lacking in other areas.Vs the people who buy rivians that say things like overcompensation? For how big it is, the four wheel steering makes it drive like it feels much smaller. But it still is a struggle to physically fit in tight parking areas and there are certain parking garages and decks it's too tall or heavy for.Its not about the money, its about the unnecessary size. First of I didn't say I switched... only added... and didn't really respond to everyone but did want to respond to a couple like the one saying about overcompensating. You could literally say that about anyone buying anything and it's just annoying instead of just admiring the beauty of what it is about anything.I mean… you posted in a Rivian forum saying you switched to a hummer then took on a defensive attitude, instead of ignoring the nay-sayers. What did you expect?
It’s a badass vehicle for sure. Congrats!
That's exactly why I can't see myself having one. The size is a hindrance to daily use.For how big it is, the four wheel steering makes it drive like it feels much smaller. I'll have to try that out on parking in decks... you could always squat to to get a bit lower but didn't ever think weight would be an issue. For how big it is, the four wheel steering makes it drive like it feels much smaller. Four-wheel steering should be a standard feature on all $80k+ vehicles in my opinion. This is the single best mechanical car feature in the past 5-10 years from my experience and I've been blessed to have it in several different vehicles I've owned. It makes my fairly large X7 move around the city like an X3. On the X5 it makes it an even more nimble experience. The top trim 911s have it too. I wish the Rivian would have it too. I'm sure the Hummer vastly benefits from this.I'll have to try that out on parking in decks... you could always squat to to get a bit lower but didn't ever think weight would be an issue.
As far as fitting into right spaces I would say it's no harder than fitting the rivian but it sure can get in and out much easier... that rear wheel steering is no joke and has a turning radius of a civic
First of all, your thread title says "replaced". So don't get all antsy on me. I support your Hummer choice. It's an insane marvel of modern engineering. I'd love to have one too. I personally don't compare with the R1T as they are two of a different breed to me, but subjectively the Hummer scores, to use GenZ slang, 100 points on the rizz-scale.First of I didn't say I switched... only added... and didn't really respond to everyone but did want to respond to a couple like the one saying about overcompensating. I love the rivian but love the hummer too...I definitely don't think I'll be driving the rivian much though after driving the hummer mainly for the smooth ride and non clunking suspension
As long as you like it and happy with it, congrats. I personally think it’s ugly. Test drive friends and just could not get pass the ugliness and the size. Not getting rid of the r1t but I don't think I'll be driving it much anymore after driving the hummer around. I miss the storage space of the rivian however the ride and super cruise is better on the hummer.... plus it looks way better ?.
Main reason for switching over is to get more range when towing so we will see how that goes but so far I'm getting roughly 360 miles per charge at 1.75 miles per kw... just got new tires so hopefully I can get closer to 2 miles per kw. Going from mud terrain tires to highway should help a lot. Here are a couple pics

Yeah I hear ya...I love the look of both but my sister keeps telling me the rivian looks like a hippo and can't stand it lolAs long as you like it and happy with it, congrats. I personally think it’s ugly. Test drive friends and just could not get pass the ugliness and the size.
