Has anyone heard if Gen1s will ever get UHF? I had some repair work done on my R1 T, and got a Gen2 R1T for a week. That UHF sure was fun!

No UHF on Gen1 from Rivian. However, the Comma AI can be added to Gen1 to get the same utility, and possibly more. Use the forum search tool for comma ai in titles only and you’ll find a lot of info.

You will never see another meaningful update to Gen 1, especially for ADAS. You want UHF in Gen 1? Comma.ai is the only way.

As others have mentioned - you really ought to give Comma.ai a try. If you liked UHF in Gen 2, you'll love Comma in your Gen 1. Here's a video where we compared it with Tesla's Enhanced Autopilot:
