I'll probably pay monthly for it. I don't keep cars long enough to do the one time. The odds of me keeping this R1 for another 5 years are pretty slim.

Historically, Tesla cars with lifetime FSD rarely sold for a premium above Tesla cars without FSDI’m not so sure the math is so simple. If you keep the car for 3 years, monthly adds to $1,800. But I could absolutely see the value of the car sold being more than $700 additional because it has lifetime Autonomy+. Even after 2 years at $1200 from monthly payments, I could envision the $1300 you “overpaid” for lifetime being recouped when sold.
Of course, we won’t know until years from now what the market bears out!![]()
Oh really? Thanks, good to know. I wouldn’t have expected that.Historically, Tesla cars with lifetime FSD rarely sold for a premium above Tesla cars without FSD
I wonder if that is still true these days now that FSD is starting to move out of the vaporware realm.Historically, Tesla cars with lifetime FSD rarely sold for a premium above Tesla cars without FSD
.SameI would pay for it IF I was allowed to use it. Person in the passenger seat is very much against any type of autonomy.Shethey have their reasons. My G1 R1S also make this issue irrelevant so I continue the mascaraed.
