I agree with what was stated. Just adding my 2 cents. I thought the ride was incredibly smooth on rough city streets. The acceleration felt very good to me. My wife thought it was a little tame compared to our R1T quad. Regen was great. Blinker sound was obnoxious. I remember when the R1s came...
Hi,
Our R1T is basically our only vehicle. We use it for daily driver and extended road trips. We can charge at home. My only complaint is that I spend a fair amount of time in northern Minnesota where the charging infrastructure is sparse. And the places I stay can't provide even level 1...
I didn't notice but I assume he had dealer plates. He is a Rivian employee based in Irvine. RJ got Vin #1 😅Kyle maybe #2 - just kidding! My impression is they were on a shakeout mission. Along with others driving to California.
It had the all terrains on. They aren't as aggressive as the R1...
Pulled into a charger in Kearney Nebraska and saw a Rivian backed into supercharger stall. Did a double take and realized it was an R2. They were driving it from Illinois to California.
I don't have any details to share other than I saw it and it's fantastic!
The guy we talked to was great...
That's my plan. We don't need and can't really afford two vehicles and the R2 is a better fit for our needs and usage. I have a 22 R1T. We live in the city and the truck is a little too big for my daughters comfort driving. The R2 will get me where I need to go for the little off-roading I do...
Minnesota here. Plenty cold and we take road trips across the upper Midwest during the winter. I find 300 miles of range acceptable though I'd sure take more. Depending on price of course. It's a tradeoff. I'm sure it will get better over time.
I received an email from Rivian today. Guessing I'm not the only one. It says In June I'll see my estimated time to order. Anyone else? I was hoping to have this thing by then.
Day 1 reservation number I believe. March 7th
