Wonder how I can get moved up on the OTA list. Tired of waiting a few days.
I would want to be one of the last updates. There is always a chance a software update introduce a new problem. In case of a 7000 Ib vehicle it could be a life threatening problem. Waiting a few days is good trade off to make sure you are not the one finding out what that booboo is.

Just FYI on the WiFi. My truck initially had issues and I tracked it down to the truck only supports WPA2. My AP's at home were set to support Mixed WPA1 and WPA2. Truck did not like that. I ended up going pure WPA2 (better that way anyway) and truck is fine. Hope that helps.
Thanks for the tip. What were the symptoms when you had issues?

I updated the software on the Loaner yesterday. Now this pops up every time I start up the truck.

Since the error showed up after a software update I would attempt a hard reset, might clear that.

Software notes say it introduces the scan for the recall on bad seat/airbag sensor
Unless erroneous, high probability that truck has faulty equipment and needs the service and reminder every start

There is no obligation to install the update.

Been gone for the month of May and just returned last night. She stayed plugged in with all turned off but connected to wifi sitting in the garage, so no loss when I went to say HI this morning. However, she is still stuck on Version 2022.11.2. So now I'm two updates behind? Anyway to force the download?

Does two update behind means you will have the choice between the two? Can only do the second update? or only the first one? In other words will second update becomes available to you only after you go through the first?

With Tesla they only push one at a time. It is very common to not see some of the earlier releases and only get the latest they are pushing when it gets to your turn.

I would be surprised if you see the .15 at this point.

The airbag warning has got to be a liability thing. Throwing that up with the new update just gives them a chance to warn everyone until it gets fixed. I got the letter but no rush to get it fixed for me.

Opposite for me. My truck was constantly locking and unlocking out the driveway 15-20 ft from my office. So I guess I'll continue to be unable to use proximity lock. Leaving unlocked at home doesn't solve my problems.
Probably been answered somewhere else, but if the vehicle is unlocked outside your office, could someone just get in and drive it away? Or does it need to sense there is a key INSIDE the vehicle before it will drive?

Tesla gives you the option to set a PIN to put the car in drive. Does Rivian have that as well? So even if the car is unlocked it is still bricked without the PIN.,

I've head this argument many times; and I agree slow-rolling OTAs is important. However a user manually checking for updates should be granted it -- that population of users is small.

They're also the ones most likely to give feedback and be most tolerant. "participate in early build releases" as the follow-up to the employee roll-outs may be a good way to put the tolerant people up first, and the pushes back people who aren't interested or simply want to be the last to receive an update.

Also it would help coordinate with peoples calendars. I’d love to update from 2022.11 to 2012.19 1.5 weeks before a road trip, but not the night before.
