That's great news. Anything more specific than west of Boston?
I’m in the Mystic CT area and have had 2 Mobile Svc visits. The last time after a morning tire rotation tech told me that he had an afternoon appointment in Barrington RI. He mentioned that he lives in CT but based out of the Chelsea SC and covers Eastern MA/CT & RI. That also depends on what service you request, some services can’t/won’t be performed by Mobile so you would have to make the trek to Chelsea (or Shelton CT if they can get you in sooner).
Glad to hear this. I’m in Maine and had a weird but minor issue with door catching slightly right after I got the truck in September, and they wanted to do it at SC. I happened to be going to Boston for a work trip so they scheduled it right during that and gave me uber credits.
Don't do what I did and schedule your 7500 mile service close to 7500 miles... By the time my appointment arrived I was at 9000 miles! Also on AT's 5000 miles is preferred so I will be scheduling that rotation almost immediately given the scheduling lag.
Indeed, it’s unfortunately a bit further for me since I’m all the way out on the coast. 4 hours to Chelsea, 5.5 to Montreal. But we do go 1-2x to Quebec each year, so might plan for that next time if it’s a scheduled service.
I reached out to Rivian Service about getting an appointment there back in September and haven't heard back. When I last tried to schedule service via the mobile app it was defaulting to the Chelsea, MA service center (3.5hrs away) vs Montreal (about 1.5hrs away).
I can see them defaulting to the country you are in and the country that covers your warranty.
Agreed. It seemed people were assuming they could use the Montreal service center even though they are in the US. That's why I was posting, as I'm not sure that is true. My service request is still open. I had one voice mail a couple weeks after opening it saying they were investigating and would get back to me, but I haven't heard anything since. I haven't tried following up with them, yet.
