I don’t have UHF so haven’t seen that. I haven’t chosen to ignore anything (don’t assume and cast aspersions). Seems inconsistent between users with many on these forums saying they are happy with it (highlighting some limitations like window venting) and others with more serious issues.
Sorry it broke things for you. My experience, and it seems like from many others, is that it didn’t break anything and it enhanced people’s experiences. It largely worked and I am happy to have something at 80% and improve rather than wait for the elusive 100% perfect product.
we all know it will not be 13% in reality. Just like Compass Yellow was popular on this forum and scored well in surveys but in reality unfortunately did not sell well. Even Red Canyon (which I have) has not sold that well (5%) and was withdrawn for a short time. Purple will sell less well than red.
I am getting 20s so I don’t get your aggressive ending in the first paragraph. Especially when you start out ok on admitting your initial error. Should have left it at that.
Instead of being reasonable and admitting you were wrong on release dates you dismiss it and move to a different topic. Just admit you had some info wrong and then go from there.
Full customer r1T deliveries were very late 2021 and R1S was August 2022. RJ said it was a learning not to launch three vehicles (EDV included) within a year of each other.
Thanks for this information, interesting g there is a $13k difference between trade in and dealer resale. I wonder if VWLindsay could comment on whether that is typical.
It gets you the capability to swap out the tire if the fix a flat cannot fix the issue. Not all punctures can be fixed with a can. So you are buying piece of mind and greater chances of resolving any issue.
Agree, don’t expect them to raise prices until early next year when they have achieved the goals for this year including point to point. Then raise it before the RAP1/lidar to capture some income from those who waited.
And they have been fixed in a matter of weeks. It does many things well and you DON’T have to use it - it is optional. So either switch it off, or use it but cut the incessant whinging about software that was clearly highlighted as evolving/improving at launch.
This is great, they had a good product a few weeks ago and this improves on it in meaningful ways. That will continue and was expected. Cause for joy not complaint. They are addressing people’s concerns and addressing them quickly.
