Entirely different?? Similar price, very close on overall size, frunk, passenger and cargo capacity. Same spec level names, very similar performance and range (EPA) range figures. Rivian themselves quite the Model Y as a key competitor. Just because the R2 could do some more light off roading...
I understand sometimes are free in the R2 LE and your point has been to spec that in the MYP would close the price gap. My point was when you option the R2 for paint and interior colors then the price gap opens up again and more people are choosing a different none free paint than requiring a...
Rivian chose this specific EPA cycle - they could have gone with the more realistic cycle but instead chose the more flattering one. That is disappointing.

I wasn’t impressed when in the March R2 video and K mentioned the 656hp she had no idea of horsepower or if that was a lot. She also from videos I have seen(like that one) feels the need to speak a lot from behind the camera which is disruptive. Glad someone likes it.

I didn’t say they did and I was responding to someone else.
If they are having trouble with logistics then when volume increases three fold by the end of next year is going to be an issue.
I don’t expect them to be in the logistics business but they knew they had to deliver vehicles and the numbers are limited compared 3000 a week in 18 months time. They should have had local car carriers arranged for nearby large cities to help reduce the need and dependency on rail.
