  1. 2025.46 Update (Release Notes). OTA pushing out now!

Anyone Gen1 owners having issues getting the driver display to switch modes? I've tried a soft reset and pressing the right thumbwheel still does nothing (I received the update last week).
  2. Rivian Update 2025.34 Now Downloading! - Upgrades / Fixes to Expect

It looks like this update introduced a bug w/ the custom weekday scheduling where you can't set a start time that is "later" than the end time. For example, my original schedule was weekdays, 9pm to 1pm (my energy provider off-peak hours are Mon-Fri 9pm to 1pm). It now resets the start time to...
  3. Smart Charging Schedule Recommendation... Ha!

  4. Bugs in the latest firmware (2025.14.30)

I've noticed mine can't say anything with "teen" (like exit's 13 through 19, route 17, etc). This issue existed in the previous update as well.
  5. Swap Wheels Error (Resolved Via Software Update)

I was able to successfully perform the "swap tires" function after the latest software update (2025.14.01). I thought I would share as I didn't see it noted as being addressed in the release notes.
  6. Swap Wheels Error (Resolved Via Software Update)

Interesting. I am having the same error w/ swap tires. I never use the key fob. I have tried placing it in the car, but it doesn't show as needing any updates. That said, it does show a low battery icon on the key fob.
  7. Swap Wheels Error (Resolved Via Software Update)

I tried submitting a ticket via phone app for this issue and they just want to send mobile tech out. Of course, appointment is 2 months out.
  8. Vermonting Vermonters

Any Vermonters received a registration renewal notice w/ the new rates? I received mine today and going through the renewal online and it is stating the renewal is $329/year (due to the loaded weight being 8532 lbs - I can lower it to the "empty weight" (7200 lbs), but it is still $255.50...
  9. N.E. Service Centers

Agreed. It seemed people were assuming they could use the Montreal service center even though they are in the US. That's why I was posting, as I'm not sure that is true. My service request is still open. I had one voice mail a couple weeks after opening it saying they were investigating and...
  10. N.E. Service Centers

I reached out to Rivian Service about getting an appointment there back in September and haven't heard back. When I last tried to schedule service via the mobile app it was defaulting to the Chelsea, MA service center (3.5hrs away) vs Montreal (about 1.5hrs away).
  11. Reviews of the Montreal Service Center?

Were you able to schedule this via the app? I still have an open customer satisfaction campaign for the insufficient half-shaft spline interference and have no interest in driving 4 hours to Boston and 4 hours back + the 3 hours needed to complete the service.
  12. Vermonting Vermonters

They registered as a an Electric vehicle. Empty weight was 6000, Loaded 7200 (Rivian reversed the numbers on my application originally) I came across the fixed registration form and it was actually 7200 empty 8532 loaded, but had no issue registering as EV. Registration was listed as $157. I...
  13. Vermonting Vermonters

My understanding is that if you don't have the pucks then you need to remove one of the underbody panels in order to put it on the lift. The pucks make it so you don't have to remove that underbody panel as they fit into holes in said panel.
  14. Version 2023.06.00 "Internal Beta" Software Update Notes

I just received a notification that 2023.6.2 was available to install..
  15. Vermonting Vermonters

Good luck! I think it'd have been much easier if they had given buyer's the option to self register.
  16. Vermonting Vermonters

It might be worth checking in w/ your guide to make sure there isn't some other hold-up.
  17. Vermonting Vermonters

You can't get it inspected w/ the temp Illinois tag, but once you get the VT plates w/ the validated registration application back you can use that to get it inspected. You don't have to wait for the registration sticker and registration card.
  18. Vermonting Vermonters

I've only used 89 (between Exits 12 and 21) so far, but it works pretty well. It does seem to like bouncing around the lane a bit, but the updates definitely seem to be improving things.
  19. Stock Rivian R1T Wheels Comparison (20" AT, 21" Road, 22" Sport) Range and Efficiency Test --by OutOfSpec

As someone who lives in Northern New England, one of my main concerns when picking the 20" AT's was winter driving.
