Max Pack Update? Anyone?

I ordered Sep 2021, so first number I got was 2H23. I'm expecting 1H24 or 2H24 at this rate, if not later. Until that 25K a year number ticks up, I don't expect them to add any more vehicles to the line unless its SUPER easy to add the Max Pack.

SO, based on all that, when my Defender I got to hold me over for a few years gets here in October 2022, the Max Pack will ship two months later, they'll clear the backlog, and then the used car market will bomb so that I can unload the defender, and I'll have to pass.

That's my superpower.

What’s very confusing to me is that I was told during my test drive on 6/10/22 is that once I had a guide assigned, things would move quickly. I have the standard 1H23 delivery window.

I wish you the best but it sounds like a mixup. We're a long way from 1H 2023 and Rivian hasn't even updated the website with final specs on the Max Pack. It would be awesome if you're the first though.

Same exact thing happened to me. What it led to was getting access to the R1 Shop. I gave up on the Max Pack and I've been enjoying my R1T for a month now.

When was your initial reservation? I did my First Mile drive today and if I could get access to the shop, I’d drop my Max Pack reservation. MY BODY IS READY.

7/19 ... my first mile drive was last November at the Sonoma Raceway. Once I got access to the R1 Shop I couldn't resist.

Pretty sure the guy who hosted my first mile said that changing my configuration online wouldn't matter but he could, "put a note on my account that I was open to switching." Your suggestion makes sense to me though and I don't see how it could hurt. I assume you can change your configuration after a guide contacts you, right?
