This all could change once I got R1 Shop access and impulsive me might take over, but for now, I plan to be patient. Not really knowing when the Max Packs will be delivered makes it really hard to wait though.

I was thinking the same way for the past 3 years. Then I got access to the R1 Shop and I couldn't resist. So selected one from the R1 Shop and immediately placed another reservation in hopes that by the time my number is up again the 800v architecture is out and they have an even larger pack available. And my R1T is sitting in my driveway and it's a bitch ride, so as of right now the impulse buy is feeling pretty good.

If you compare this picture to the same one of the R1S skateboard, thr pack is the same. The R1S has the large pack.

The graphics made from pre-production CAD drawings do not represent the truck they produce. Look at the pack Munro disassembled and compare it to the drawing you posted.

There may be space in the frame for a pack longer than the large size, but I haven't seen it. The alternative is that Rivian is using the space under the second row of the R1T, and the third row well on the R1S, for the extra cells.

I didn't see a gap when Munro showed the rear suspension. Perhaps Munro will show the frame with the cab removed.

You’re saying the current large pack takes up the entirety of the chassis space In R1T? if that’s the case then the R1S must have a smaller battery now.

Is the Meridian subwoofer under the rear passenger seat? Is there room for both module 12 and a subwoofer?

Sorry, I meant the driver's side. IIRC the subwoofer should remain in place just fine.
