The irony in here is strong. People in glass houses throwing stones.

Don't we all own/drive a car created by someone who inadvertently misled us into beleiving false pretenses? Shame on us for supporting such a brand. 🤡

No. What false things did you believe about your Rivian that misled you to buy it? Mine is exactly as expected.

IIRC, Tesla has played misleading number games by saying vehicles haven't gotten in wrecks with FSD because FSD was shut off a split second before the wreck. Your rage over a youtube video being significantly more than your rage toward Tesla for facilitating improper use of their systems resulting in accidents and deaths is telling.
That's not even remotely correct. All accidents within 30 seconds of ADAS engaged are reported to the NHTSA. Tesla counts anything within 5 seconds for their own statistics

you can disengage autopilot, drive on your own, crash and die and tesla reports it.

if you are a drunk driver, approach an intersection where autopilot does not work, manually drive that intersection and then crash/die, it is reported.

The problem is almost no other brands report this because they simply do not have logs of this. Rivian does not report anything like this and if you go through the NHTSA reports they seem to not report anything at all, despite it being legally required. Almost all reports are internal, meaning they were from employees or from a damaged loaner vehicle. That means that if in such a small sample size, there are accidents, the ADAS at scale must not be very good.

I've often said that disputing EV myths and bullshit is a full time job. But the same has to be said about the anti-Tesla propaganda too.

Both are true. In this case though it was only the anti-Tesla bullshit that was being debunked.

Probably some crazy roof rack setup or a massive solar panel integration. I watched his fluid engineering videos last month and he loves optimizing aerodynamics. If it's for a block party, it's going to be something highly visible and absurd.

What is abundantly clear is people on this forum are blinded by hate for Tesla and Elon Musk in particular and are extremely unwelcoming, rude, and disrespectful to those who are even indifferent about it. I expected more from the "anti-hate" Rivian crowd. The Tesla sunshine pumpers are blinded by fandom, but at least they're nice people when you disagree with them.

You become what you detest the most.

If you look at NHTSA reports, tesla reports the most accidents. It's because they are the only ones reporting accidents.

Rivian deliberately chooses to not collect video of accidents and only collects them from the car computer if you bring your car in

Tesla collects videos of every accident and it's really stupid not to. This is good data for training FSD

A lot of them see this as almost a religion and an ethical Crusade. They see themselves as better than anyone who doesn’t immediately hate Musk.

both are true.... as someone who tried to be an honest Tesla fan engaged with the community on X for years, it got really old seeing both sides jsut say a bunch of stuff that wasn't true to make their voice heard. Part of why I quit using X was the Tesla/Elon fanboys are just too much. But man, go to any other platform and people just make stuff up about Tesla that isn't true (especially Cybertrucks). I still love the cars, but very much dislike the leader.
