Kinda hard to argue how his intentions on educating our youth is not valid. Way better than all the other "Brain Rot" videos out there or viral tik tok challenges being posted.
Tough crowd in todays society as there is no grace given to people anymore. You're always one bad step away from...
That's hillarious! Warburton was also on my list as my young daughter suggested "the guy from The Emporer's New Groove" when I asked her who she thought would be a good voice.
I too have a Comma installed but like my radar detector, the installation of both my radar detector and Comma also predates my false alarms.
Mine have not been as frequent as you're reporting. Since the last update the alerts have been very minimal. (Down to once a week.)
Interesting. I've had this issue happen only since the previous update. I brought it into the service center and they blamed the phantom alarms on my hardwired install of my radar detector. Mind you that my detector has been installed since 2023 and I have never had this issue before...
Still trying to figure out how to slowly maneuver the truck when trying to align a trailer. The throttle is so touchy that it makes it difficult to move the truck "inches" as it tends to "lunge" when depressing the accelerator. Wish Rivian would create the throttle characteristic to allow you...
This is very helpful. I sourced power for my radar detector from the mirror power and the source I was using had constant power that would not go to "sleep". As a result my radar would get left on when I didn't actively turn it off. What sucks is that over time it burned in a ghost image on...
So if I had a 2024 Cybertruck and had Tesla service it and they dropped my Cybertruck off their lift, I should expect that they replace it with a 2026 dumpster?
(just kidding)
What happened to the OP sucks. While I understand your frustration, I feel that their offer is "reasonable"...
I just had this happen to me 2 days ago on a long drive from Northern California to Southern California. It was during one of the long stretches. I was using D+ and all of the sudden I get an alert that D+ disengaged and was not available for use. Shortly there after the system rebooted while...
Just my $.02 from experience having the Stealth XPEL applied. With the stealth, you do get the benefit of reducing glare off your panels. Helpful when the sun is trying to reflect off the hood of the truck. Also, as you mentioned stealth is more forgiving to scratches and dust/dirt does not...
These "success" stories are ones that get often overlooked and not told. Rivian has always taken care of my concerns and issues no matter how big or small. They never hesitate to address an issue and their warranty covers way more than I had anticipated.
Despite most of the flaws we hear...
Throttle control. I could definitly use this when trying to line up a trailer. The "on throttle" response of the car makes the car jerk on and off from a stop. Allowing a gradual/slow accelleration would be nice.
Just a PSA about resetting breakers. As an engineer, it's almost a cardinal sin to reset a tripped breaker without finding out what tripped the breaker. It's best to investigate what caused the breaker to trip before trying to reset it. The breaker is made to be the "weak link" within the...
Simple is elegant as long as it is functional. Rivian has done a good job of keeping the important items/most frequently used information displayed.
While the Tesla has a lot of apps and features, it has a hard time of displaying them in a "clean and concise" manner.
I relate the Tesla UI...
Take it for what it's worth, I inquiried about this method when we had our truck serviced at America's Tire a few months ago. The service manager explained that a memo was sent out that Rivian's are only supposed to be jacked up one side at a time as there were a few cases that the Rivian's...
