So jealous (and frustrated) of the folks in this thread with guide contacts. I'm a December 2019 R1S pre-order. I'm a plain jane Launch Edition, Launch Green, Black Mountain, 20s. I've literally _never_ changed my configuration and don't intend to. I got a June/July window yet Rivian has never contacted me. Ever. No First Drive. No First Mile. No Guide. Nothing.

Same…not fun! …but Rivian has taught me patience. Not that I was looking for that! Misery loves company. Hang in there.

I'm a December 2019 R1S pre-order.

The only R1S guide contacts have been April/May, and all of them had a much earlier pre-order date. No May/June R1S contacts have been posted yet, let alone June/July. There have been ZERO deliveries.

R1T is another thing entirely -- they're all over the place. But for R1S it sounds like you're still on schedule (at least until the great late-may re-shuffling).

I'm a Sep'19, R1S, changed my config way too many times. Last week, got rid of OC interior. settled on LE Green with FE. No contact from a guide as of yet.

So, I bellyache in this thread and then today I got a First Drive invite. Mine is scheduled for next Wednesday at 9:00am.

Got Guide assignment yesterday and signed PBA today. "Selected for production" is the phrasing I think I remember hearing, but there's no actual truck yet, so I don't have a timeline for delivery. The Ocean Coast delay surely allowed my order to be bumped up from its original June-July estimate, but I was surprised it was this much earlier (speculating on a few weeks from now delivery).

Yep, I think OC delays really helped the June/July group. I took delivery yesterday. Only 1 day after 8 step process!

I think in your case, it was to do with your switch to Black Mountain rather than anything related to Ocean Coast, since that switch would have changed your delivery estimate regardless of the OC delay. I haven't seen any Forest Edge preorders get this far with a preorder date as late as mine (I'd have been one of the last LE delivered, originally). So I'm left with wondering if they've changed the process since the Black Mountain rush which changes the Guide-->PBA-->8-step-->delivery timing. I guess we're about to find out!

Ah! Then I withdraw my statement. I do still think BM helped accelerate your delivery even more than OC delay, though. I guess we'll see in a couple months if FE is the new BM. :-D

So this must have to do with either bright wheels or forest edge interiors because I live in Portland (Tigard really) and ordered 3 months before you. But, I am LE LG Normal AT 20s and BM.

Congrats on your truck, but gosh darn it I wish I was getting mine

Was June/July the window stated in the email sent out late last year or were you originally scheduled for a different window and this is an update?
