I sold mine to a dealership for $43k after deciding to not play the lottery with Rivian Trade In values since they won't give a quote until the 8 step process opens.

It still took a bit to find a dealership that wasn't lowballing me. The first one I went to had a 2020 sport on the lot with 10k miles listed for $44k and they wanted to give me $41k for my "perfect condition" 2021 RTL-E with 10k miles.

I would have assumed the tax break would have been more beneficial if you traded it in at those numbers. Unless you’re in a state that doesn’t reduce your tax liability with trade ins….

Or even better, live in Oregon where there is no sales tax.
