Foot of the vertical posts gets attached to the U shaped nut. Very simple. I am not a handy guy, but it was pretty straightforward install.

Thanks for sharing all of the photos. I'd really like to have that rack, but I don't need to have it at this time. It's nice to know that it is available.

I just wish my truck fit in my garage. I don't have enough depth.
