@Rivian Head Do you have any sense of how much time it would take to uninstall the rack. I'd like a rack like this that I could take on and off relatively easily.
not yet. Will do shortly. Will likely add a wind deflectiorVery nice. Had a chance to test the effects on efficiency?
Yes, full size. Sleeps skinny 4 adults. Most likely 2 adults and 2 kids.Looks great. I am also jealous of your garage clearance. My antenna clears the garage door by less than 1cm in standard height!
That’s the full size iKamper no? How many could you sleep in there?
All I have to do is to remove 8 bolts. 2 min job. Reinstalling may take more time since lining up 8 bolts onto U shaped nuts will take some time. But shouldn’t be too difficult.@Rivian Head Do you have any sense of how much time it would take to uninstall the rack. I'd like a rack like this that I could take on and off relatively easily.
Looks good. Thanks for sharing. Whenever you have a chance, do you mind posting some more photo angles of your setup?
thank you. Now I need to get a hoist system .First, i'm envious of your garage space. Wish i had that. Second, the ikamper looks great and I also wish i could purchase the rack and move mine up from the bed to free up space, but alas, if i do it stays outside as it would not go in the garage! Congratulations on the setup. Looks perfect!
Haha. I was literally doing research on hoist systems last night. Still looking for the simplest solution as I’m not mechanically inclined.thank you. Now I need to get a hoist system .
Do you plan to buy two more mounts to connect to the roof bar? Or perhaps at least consider a foam or rubber insert into the crossbar channel so you have a constant and soft touch point.… Fits flush with the factory crossbars so that my Ikamper is resting in 3 bars, feels much secure. Highly recommend it.
No, I am not that concerned. I just want the easiest way to unload ikamper. Looking at a bunch of hoist systems, but not sureDo you plan to buy two more mounts to connect to the roof bar?
