  3. Threat to claw back Rivian loan sparks criticism of Musk’s conflict of interest [LOCKED DUE TO POLITICS]

It’s so ridiculous how our government wastes so much money on subsidized industries in the name of “ protection”. The likelihood of Rivian succeeding is very low; they can’t even sell their flagship products, and by the time R2 comes out, the market will be flooded with competitors. If you want...

It looks like CT sales dominance will continue ..
  7. Hyundai IONIQ 9 - Global Premiere

It’s a very compelling choice for 90%+ of consumers who don’t care about race track or off roading. It’s much more practical and functional with better second and 3rd row. With undercutting R1S’s price by $20k, Rivian is in trouble. R2 and R3x can’t come soon enough.
  8. The Elephant in the Room [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICAL DISCUSSION]

Rivian has very high chance of going bankrupt unless it turns around quickly. They just can’t sell their vehicles. Losing $7500 tax credit may be the fatal blow to its survival. A good company but the market only rewards the best and the first disruptor. Being second seldom gets rewarded.
  9. Official: Scout EV SUV & Pickup debut w/ Gas Range Extender EREV, 4x4, BOF, Lockers, Sway Bar Disconnect -- All Specs, Wallpapers, Videos

Scout looks great, but by 2027 rolls around, so many unforeseeable things can happen; economy, interest rate fluctuations, Chinese EVs invading US via Mexico. Even Rivian may declare bankruptcy by then. Nice to dream, but Scout may follow the path of Fisker. It’s a very tough business, and the...

Hard to believe, right? Wonder why stock is up 22% today?
  11. Cybertruck Laugh of the Day [⚠️ WARNING: NO POLITICS; MEMBERS BANNED]

Who is burying his head in the sand? CT outsold all other EV trucks combined while being profitable. All others are hemorrhaging money. Tesla Q3 earnings call triggered 22% uptick in stock. Who is burying his head in the sand? Who is laughing? ??
  12. CyberTruck No More Waitlist, Available for Immediate Delivery

You are right. But again neither Rivian nor OEMs don’t break down their numbers. So Kelly Blue Book etc get their numbers from other sources such as vehicle registration data which is easily verifiable. CT: R1T 5:1 ratio will likely continue well into 2025. Will see which vehicle becomes a...
  13. CyberTruck No More Waitlist, Available for Immediate Delivery

The article doesn’t quote any sources, which is journalism 101 stuff. First of all, he is wrong on 1 million reservations. Second, he failed to quote the source for 2.5% conversion rate. A garbage hit job.
  14. Cybertruck Laugh of the Day [⚠️ WARNING: NO POLITICS; MEMBERS BANNED]

Tesla just released its Q3 earnings. I haven’t had a chance to comb through the numbers, but stock is up 9% after market. Rivian has down adjusted 2024 sales forecast to 47k units, down from 57k. Will see what Nov 7 earnings call will be like. Let’s stick to figures and numbers.
  15. Cybertruck Laugh of the Day [⚠️ WARNING: NO POLITICS; MEMBERS BANNED]

Cardad is absolutely correct. I own R1T and R1S, and loved them both. But after test driving a CT, I must say they are eclipsed by CT. My wife who hated CT appearance was blown away after a test drive. She also loved FSD features. Agree it’s good to have choices, but I am afraid Rivian will...
  16. Honest Opinion From Current Owners? - Re: R1S

As an owner of MY, R1S and R1T, I will chime in. R1S will give u more storage space but the rear seat leg room is not any better. Its software, driver assist system( lack of FSD), especially Alexa, is annoyingly bad. R1T is a phenomenal off road and towing vehicle. But Rivian Service center is...
  17. Cybertruck Laugh of the Day [⚠️ WARNING: NO POLITICS; MEMBERS BANNED]

What data do you need to admit CT is dominating the EV truck market; Outselling R1T by 5 folds, outselling all others combined is not enough? I will revisit this thread after Q4 numbers, and post some numbers. Stay tuned, you all members of the Temple of Elon Haters. Blindness is a disease !?
  18. Cybertruck Laugh of the Day [⚠️ WARNING: NO POLITICS; MEMBERS BANNED]

September data according to Kelly Blue Book; CT sold more than 5000 units in September with average price of $116,690. “ stunning number as less than 4% of vehicles sold in US is over 100k “ per Kelly. Who is blind and isolated from the real world ??
