  1. Scorpion AS + Tires questions for owners who switched

My understanding is now all ship from Rivian with 116 and I believe manual updated as well from other threads. I haven't gone through it recently. If in manual that is generally what will keep a chain store from working with them One other note. I got the "Amazon" tpms which had same part...
  2. Scorpion AS + Tires questions for owners who switched

I know all have changed to 116 but some R1's were original with 115's. Likely just depend on the store. Costco never seems to budge on such "risk" factors but have heard other reports on Discount Tire etc. Probably worth a call with whomever you are buying the tires from.
  3. Scorpion AS + Tires questions for owners who switched

1,500 miles on mine with Atomic Wheels. Agree same to better efficiency than 21s. Nice and quiet amd handle great. I haven't had a chance to drive through much rain yet. Not sure on discount. I simply had them mount tires and I do my own rotations etc.
  4. Another First EV Roadtrip Post / Oregon to SoCal

I agree need a set of road tires and wheels if decide to use R1s for trips. 30+ miles adds up to reduce amount of stops.
  5. Charging Station Rating in new Rivian software update -- Wassym interview

Colby has always worked well for me so would agree on the A. However that is the difference in a small dataset vs a much larger dataset Rivian has.
  6. Question regarding Supercharging

Sorry to hear that. I got mine 4 days prior. Glad the trip still went well.
  7. Question regarding Supercharging

It has been great. Easy to use and has worked perfectly. I found out within 30 minutes so was about 400th in queue. They stated April delivery and got mine on the 8th. Some have been quoted up to September that I last saw. They were around 50k on the list.
  8. Question regarding Supercharging

Understand the Understand the frustration but I'm glad they were able to announce and open it with Tesla when they did. Since I also have a Mach-e I quickly discovered that Tesla was not going to fulfill demand through the different OEM's for some time. I got an A2Z adapter and made my...
  9. Parts retention on warranty repairs

Almost no business allows. They don't need oh / repaired parts in the market. Interested to see what you find out.
  10. Eclipse + Superchargers + Rivian = Chaos

You really went to no man's land. I'm almost surprised found gas along the way 😀.
  11. Can't imagine a worse car-buying experience

Sorry to hear as my person in KC was awesome. Definitely report the individual to Rivian corporate as they definitley don't want that to represent their brand. Also, they do have most Vampire drain gone. I lost less than 1% a day over a 4 day weekend for the eclipse with Gear Guard on. Much...
  12. Eclipse + Superchargers + Rivian = Chaos

I used the Tesla ones in Jackson, Fenton, Columbia with no issues. A2Z worked great. Farmington and Perryville also have good Francis Units.
  13. Eclipse + Superchargers + Rivian = Chaos

In Misery (MO), no offense as I'm from there, no issues at Superchargers or CCS stations most were only half full at most. Traffic out was crazy though, 1 hour drives took about 5 hours on most routes. I did see quite a few full Gas stations but their fill up time is better.
  14. New Mustang Mach-e GT Rally EV beats Rivian R3X to the punch

Acceleration is OK? What a world we live in.
  15. Affordable high efficiency 20" wheels and 33" tires options (275/60R20)

I have both 21 and 20 OEM. Will be selling the 21's in a couple of weeks. Only put about 3k on them, really good driving characteristics. Just didn't want to have to deal with so few options of tires.
  16. A2Z NACS To CCS1 Adapter Review

Interesting. Mine works great without any effort. I was ready for it to be a pain from some of the videos.
  17. Cybertrucks in the wild - quick comment

Disagree having ridden in both. R1 suspension is light years ahead of CT design. Check the scores for amount of articulation. Now CT does have quicker air height changes. Kneel always worked great for me before I got sliders.
  18. What Am I Missing > Tesla Supercharging using Lectron Tesla adapter

On a road trip. Have A2Z. I got both plug and charge and Tesla App to work. I hope you get it figured out or maybe just a bad station? You for sure have adapter fully seated with the Tesla NACS plug?
  19. First Ford NACS adapters started shipping

I got it figured out, must select the station in Tesla app first. Worked perfect next 2 times. Got my $13+ back. Also $.33 vs $.61 at the new Pilot locations is a great benefit. Thank you Rivian and Tesla for figuring it out. Also the A2Z is super simple to use. It seemed like some the...
