This slightly lifted version of the R2 is the best looking version I’ve seen yet. Should Rivian release a “trail package” that provides with a suspension lift for the R2? Maybe we’ll see something like this from RAD?

Of course color preference is entirely subjective, but I think Launch Green looks best with a black interior. If Forest Edge was an option, I would recommend that combination as well.

If you need CarPlay, you have a fantastic selection of 2015 vehicles to choose from. Many of which still have CD players!

I really like Forest Edge. My favorite pairing is with Launch Green. It would have been cool to see this paired with Rivian Green on Gen 2 Quads.

I think the Mach-E was a very good option in 2022, but there are much better choices now in 2026.

I don’t have an X account, so I can’t confirm, but someone posted this image on Reddit. If this is an official Rivian post, then it ends the debate on whether Rivian Green is actually a new color, or simply a renamed color.

I also like Compass Yellow quite a bit more than Borealis, but I don’t mind the idea of limited colors. It makes the vehicles produced in those colors even more unique.

Come on, let’s give Rivian some credit. How many other auto manufacturers are releasing purple vehicles these days? Rivian’s colors are bolder than most.

I agree that the additional weight of the engine and gasoline likely plays a factor in the reduced payload. However, I’m not as convinced of the “easy fix” that you mentioned.
