Yeah, stopped working early August & they've even changed the numbering scheme.I am having trouble figuring this out. Are people pulling up old gmail preorder confirmations and still being able to do this? My preorder was 10/26/20, maybe they updated this to remove it?
I also wrote in to ask them to provide the number for me, as well as the number specific to R1S (my order), but they wouldn't provide.
If you look in the url when in the configurator your order number is there at the end of the url.On my android phone, I opened the configuration confirmation email in the gmail app, clicked the button in the email, downloaded the webpage, and looked at it in a text viewer app (e.g., fx text viewer). It has a line at the top 'account/vehicle/order/(your order number). For me 17,7##. Preordered 10/28/19. Probably you could also log into your Rivian account, click on your configuration and look at the html code, the order number is at the top. Open in browser and find 'view code.'
Yes! Much easierIf you look in the url when in the configurator your order number is there at the end of the url.
If your preorder was after August 2020, then it isn't a terribly useful number. They adjusted the numbering system at that time. I don't think we have collected enough data to determine if there is a pattern to the adjusted numbers. There was a 20k? jump in the numbers between December 2019 and January 2020.i've got 9 numbers at the end of the url
