Drag racing experiences?

I think we should all ask Rivian to add a track mode, maybe something allowing a change in tire size for anyone switching out to a competition tire of a different size, maybe bumping up the top speed and maybe dumping a bit more juice into the motors... just a few things on my wish list

Do we know if top speed is tied to wheel/tire selection?

Might the limiter be set higher with the sportier 22's vs the off-road 20's?

Does the larger diameter of the 20's actually increase the top speed relative to the 22's since speed will be faster at the same wheel RPM?

Can you trick the limiter into giving you a few extra MPH by telling it you have 22's when you actually have 20's? If it recalibrates the speedometer assuming 22, but you actually have 20 you would be going faster than 115 when the speedometer says 115.

I think 115 is the same limit for all tire sizes. I have the 22s.

I thought the speed limit was 130mph, or at least 125. Has something changed in the spec recently?

I think the preproduction vehicles had a higher limit. Rivian probably lowered it to reduce the likelihood of damage happening.

I plan on drag racing mine. I'll probably only do it once on an open night. I've only been once before when I was really young in a much slower car. So now it will be fun to be one of the quicker ones there.

Same here. My only concern is that the nearest drag strip from me is about 75 miles away with no chargers nearby and unless I didn't see it I am not sure at what SOC will performance start dropping.

I've heard the design limit of the motors puts the maximum speed around 130 MPH. But I have no evidence regarding it.
