    That part, about what's left in the inventory, is worrisome. Does it exclude the "refreshed" R1 once they resume production after the April factory upgrades? We're supposed to have access in May (early?) so hopefully there's still a lot of vehicles available.

    On a related price topic, is it confirmed or not that the R1T/R1S are not subject to the federal luxury tax? As it seems the GVWR is above the limit specified by the tax.

    That's what I got with the configurator. I don't think taxes are included. The $133K is, in my opinion, just insane. I would not consider the truck if I didn't have early reservation pricing.

    BTW anybody knows when is the next refresh for the delivery coming? That would give us an indication if things are still on track. I'm also curious to see if my delivery window will change (was July-Sep 2024) after switching my config from max pack to large pack.

    If you check the 10% challenge by OutOfSpec on the same two R1T as in the test above you'll see the curve, for 15 mins, is essentially the same. No significant difference. In fact the Max pack received slightly less kwh in those 15 mins.

    That's the advantage of a large battery. You can reduce/postpone public charging. Costs less. Less stress on the battery as well and longer longevity.
