Can anyone make a call using Alexa on their Rivian? Mine does not work even with the new software update version.

It works for me. TBH I got the Alexa account and the app on my iPhone just for the Rivian and I don’t fully understand how the interface between those three things works. Did I even need Toni stall it on my phone?

I had the same problem. Since Alexa was overall so useless I just turned it off.

I had the same issue. Finally called Rivian support. After confirming I had given Alex access to my contacts in the Alexa app, they had me do a reset on the truck via the steering wheel and hazard button and after that it works.

Works fine for me

Alexa works very well for me almost all the time, but I occasionally get a glitch where she gets stupid. A simple infotainment reset cures any problems I have seen.

When I say "call Mary", Alexa will respond with "Did you mean Mary Smith?" if Mary Smith is the particular Mary that I call most frequently. I also have the ability to call the mobile, home, or work number if they are all in my phonebook.

works perfect for me, works better than other brand's incar calling. I like having alexa in the car, just wished there was youtube music /youtube/google maps.

I’ve never bothered with Alexa. I can just “hey siri text whoever”, “hey siri call whoever”, “hey siri read my last text message”, etc. Not as simple as CarPlay but I don’t see the need for using Alexa as a middleman to do the same thing the phone can already do.

Works for me. But I gave Alexa the contact list. Can't remember exactly how I did that.

Infotainment Reset
Hold the far left and far right buttons on the steering wheel for about 15 seconds. This fixes issues having to do with the screens, hotspots, Alexa not working, glitchy navigation, etc
