R2 with new wheels & camo spotted with R1S - photos & video

This R2 prototype with new wheels and camo was just spotted testing near Rivian's Irvine HQ, with an R1S as follow vehicle.

Thanks for the post. What--if anything--should I read into the fact that as yet I have never seen an R2 with a sharkfin antenna? Not even on the validation builds. Anyone have a idea?

Some cars have the tech to remove the shark fin.

I'm not an RF expert, but maybe the new rear airflow deflector is hiding something, given it's most likely non-metallic.

Lots of smaller vehicles have removed any antenna and have instead just run wiring thru the trim work along with what @mkg3 mentioned: using coatings and other materials on the glass. Pretty cool stuff.

Pretty sure this camo wrap is just a selection of R2 launch colors with a natural theme to it.

Watching this in a small window, I thought for a sec there was a giant Rivian logo on this building.

I hope they have "normal people" test driving these, as well. But I guess only time will tell, for that.
