Hey Rivian Nation,

We've been at it for a long time, finally ready to post for pre-orders! Our engineers have crafted the ultimate aftermarket upgrade bumper for Rivian R1T / R1S. This is the first half of a matching set (the rear bumper will come soon after this front bumper launches).

Since 2021, we've been Rivian owners making Rivian products - so once again, we know what matters to owners, what works well with Rivians, and what to avoid with Rivians. This bumper has been carefully designed, engineered, and manufactured with the same passion we've had for all products we bring to market.

A few highlight features:

  • NO TRIMMING or CUTTING required!
  • Optimal aero design will not reduce range
  • No 'logos' added. We know most prefer not cluttering up with logos
  • Retains Driver+ functionality, collision avoidance, and all ADAS / Camera / Radar functionality
  • Retains factory inner crash absorption structure (stay safe!)
  • Retains factory tow hooks
  • Offers improved approach clearance in tire frontal plane for better off-obstacle traversing
  • No interference with fog lights, turn signals, low beams or high beam headlights
  • Manufactured to OEM standards
  • Rugged and strong for off-road duty, yet lightweight thanks to made from aerospace-grade lightweight aluminum alloy
  • Finished with heavy duty triple-coat electrostatic black textured powdercoating
  • Fits all R1T / R1S, all generations and model years
  • DIY installable - Video instructions in the works
  • Not our first venture into EV bumpers - check our Cybertruck Bumper, the market leader - HERE

And options to suit all customers:
  • Optional Rivian-spec plug-and-play LED light kits offered
  • Optional Winch Packages
  • Optional skid-plate finish (raw or blacked out)
  • Optional bull-bar (bumper features mounting points for our bull bars or custom made bars)

Check the product page HERE

We are open for pre-order; get in line now, we'll shipped oldest orders first. Pre-order pricing is discounted; will raise once we're in-stock.

Looks great on paper! @EV Sportline, if you haven't already, can you please provide some more photos and perhaps an installation video?

This product looks great and I’m very interested. I had a couple of questions:
- Are you expecting this to be a reasonable DIY install option or would you recommend professional installation?
- if I don’t choose a winch or lights now, are they easy to add on later?

It all depends on personal experience, knowledge, and expectations. No individual step is too difficult for anyone to do but there are a lot of steps and care must be taken. If you enjoy working on your car and can set aside a day to do the install, then it should be a fun project. If you do not have much diy expertise or do not want to take the time, then a professional install may be a better fit. Winch and lights can be added later. Partial disassembly will be required, obviously - but yes doable.

How is the camp kitchen development coming along for the RMAXX slide out?
We have a prototype here, next is production - I think it's a later 2025 intro

Is reclibration of sensors required? If so will Rivian even touch this product? Have you investigated how Rivian will react to warranty service any time they need to work in the front bumper area? I'm asking because of the mixed reaction service centers have had to aftermarket running boards/rock sliders. If recalibration is required, what does Rivian charge? Last, what is the weight penalty over the stock bumper? Nice looking product, im just concerned about potential warranty issues.

Any chance this could support a front hitch receiver and light domestic plow set up for self plowing our drive way?

If concerned about warranty probably not for you, unless want to takenon additonal effort. It will always depend on the service center personnel as we have seen over and over in the many different posts on the site (regarding sliders other afternarket adds). For ensured warranty coverage be prepared to remove and then reinstall stock before service visit.

I've had several Jeeps, and one thing I severely miss is that accessories are plentiful. Great aftermarket bumpers grow on trees and cost $400. I can drive down the road and get my pick of in-stock versions.
