I think I like the location of those lights even better than in your previous iteration!
I canāt tell what the bottom looks like: are you expecting to be able to improve approach angle at all?
Took my 2022 R1T quad on some trails in VT this weekend. The truck did great as usual. I added some rock sliders from @EV Sportline earlier this year and theyāve already saved my truck from damage on multiple trips.
If you ever have a chance to take your Rivian on some rocks, Iād highly...
This product looks great and Iām very interested. I had a couple of questions:
- Are you expecting this to be a reasonable DIY install option or would you recommend professional installation?
- if I donāt choose a winch or lights now, are they easy to add on later?
So, is it just me, or does it look like theyāve removed the recovery points? Looking at their website they have a lot of pictures up now, and you can clearly see the factory recovery points arenāt there. I donāt see any replacement points. What are others seeing?
I assume you stopped at a rest stop in CT as I believe theyāre the only places in CT with AppleGreen chargers. If so, then the other commenterās here are correct, that Tesla station does not work for non teslas. None of them at the rest stops in CT do. Iād recommend checking the rivian nav or...
This is great @EV Sportline ! Any chance youāre working on an improved front bash plate? I know Iām going to ram a rock one day and crush that plastic front plate ?. Would be great to replace it with a metal one.
Thereās a fairly straightforward way to check what the vehicle thinks the usable battery capacity is. This info is available on rivianās API. If you sign up for a service like electrafi, it will show you this data. Pretty there is a free trial if youāre interested.
FYI Iām not affiliated with...
On the Home Screen, the top center section has the āBatteryā details. It tells you how much is charged out of the available capacity (e.g. 95 / 130.5) that second number represents the total capacity the vehicle believes you have. You can take that and compare it to the usable capacity that your...
If you use a service like electrafy, it would tell you the battery capacity info that @sub mentioned without you having to dig in to API calls yourself. Pretty sure they offer a free trial.
Just another option for you to consider.
As others have mentioned, this is a thing. FWIW, I agree with you that no other car Iāve ever been in has this high of a weight threshold. I donāt have the data to say itās unsafe, but since the threshold is the highest Iāve ever noticed, it was/is worrying to me too.
So, I filled a complaint...
According to check-ins on plug share, all work appears to be completed and the screens are on indicating ācoming soon⦠we are settings upā. (Yes, rivian has the grammatical error on their screens)
Been that way for a couple of weeks now. Really hoping this gets turned on soon as I have a trip...
Hmm.. Iām starting to wonder if Iām just a jerk, because I donāt really have any interest in purchasing an extension cable just because superchargers were not made to accommodate vehicles with different charging port locations.
To be clear, there is little to no problem if a bunch of rivians...
I have a Grizzl-e duo. One 40 amp charger that will split the power with 2 vehicles. It works really well. Weāve never needed more then that overnight to get us to our target SOC.
Of course, we donāt put on a ton of miles most days. But something for you to consider.
